“I had 3 jobs that needed doing.
1. rear discs and brake pads - that went smoothly
2. front discs and brake pads - the parts I ordered were wrong size. but upon receiving the correct parts, the job went smoothly.
3. Front drivers side Wheel Bearing - this is where I was disappointed! the part was changed during my first visit. However, the brand was not what he said it would be. I was willing to purchase the part myself but he said he can source it. but it changed last minute when I was dropping my car. I let that go..
however, after test driving I was not convinced it was installed correctly. I spoke to Arunas who advised me to rev up the engine and that the installation was fine. He was giving me driving tips which is not bad for a mechanic despite me having 12 yrs experience! basically he was condescending and wanted to get rid of me.
Second time when the car was in to complete the job for brakes, I was advised they will look into the wheel again as it will be on the ramp. that however was not done as there was no change performance.
Third time I called them around 2 weeks after this saga expressing my disappointment with the job. Arunas stated he was on a long holiday and can't be there. Later I discovered via his colleague that he had left the business and was keeping me in dark. He was doing his best to be the anchor. This bloke drove the car and still did not hear the squeak from the wheel and steering wheel juddering. I was adamant the wheel is jammed for some reason and we went for another test drive. After a long argument, he reluctantly raised the car and spun the wheel. Not to my surprise, it was jammed and was affecting car's performance. So he stripped everything down again and it was reasonably okay. it took me 5 to 6 weeks to get the message through to them. So I conclude they are either : Ignorant or Incompetent.
P.S. - During various phone calls, the conversation was heated and Arunas was condescending and patronizing to say the least. This is ever”
