BMW i7 2022-present problems
We don't yet have enough data on the i7 to identify any common problems. However, it's worth familiarising yourself with the kinds of issues electric vehicles can face. These include:
Battery degradation
In-car electronics failure
Failed sensors
Is the BMW i7 reliable?

As the BMW i7 is still so new, it isn't possible to say how reliable it is because it hasn't yet been featured in the What Car? reliability survey. However, BMW came 8th out of 31 brands in the 2023 survey, beating Tesla and Mercedes.
