ACM Garage

ACM Garage is based in Torquay, Devon.

“In 2015, my husband and I opened up a small garage after he was made redundant. We could only get one car in the garage at the time and never expected to get to where we are today. I was advertising online at the time, trying to get as much work as possible to build a customer base. 

"We then came across FixMyCar, and after trying other networks with no success, we signed up. It only took two weeks for our diary to start filling up, and I had many more cars to quote on to win work, which offered a huge opportunity to grow our business. Being able to provide quotes for as many jobs as possible without having to advertise saved me hours' worth of online work. 

"Within a year, we needed to move premises as we had a queue of cars waiting to come in. We moved to a bigger unit that could take four cars and employed two more mechanics. The reviews we gained and word of mouth from customers enabled us to move again in 2021 to a garage that we can fit 20 cars in, with an MOT bay, multiple ramps and currently ten staff.
