How we worked it out
Our figures are based on the average savings drivers have made on quotes they have received from mechanics listed on WhoCanFixMyCar in 2021.
To calculate the average savings made by drivers using the WhoCanFIxMyCar website, we looked at each job posted and calculated the average price vs the highest price received per quoted job. The difference being the saving our drivers could achieve based on an average basis.
The good news is that average servicing and repair prices fell by over 2% this year, and we're hopeful that this downward trend will continue into 2022. Whether or not it will remains to be seen, but one thing's for sure; if you want to save, make sure you compare prices on WhoCanFixMyCar.
