FixMyCar has been appointed to further develop the roll-out of the Pagid ‘Proud to Fit’ (PPTF) network.

The UK’s largest independent online car maintenance marketplace, which has over 15,000 garages in its network, will help oversee the recruitment of garages to the innovative scheme.

The ‘Proud to Fit’ programme has been specifically created by Pagid to act a symbol of brake service excellence for consumers, backed by OEM-levels of support for approved installers using Pagid original-quality replacement components.

Garages that join the ‘Proud to Fit’ network through FixMyCar will also be able to access technical, service and product information online as well as receive dedicated IMI approved brake fitment training from experts.

Sid Murrey, Head of OEM Relationships at FixMyCar, explained: “We are honoured to have been selected by Pagid, the world’s biggest manufacturer of brakes, to enhance the further roll-out of its ‘Proud to Fit’ network in the UK”.

“The network offers garages exclusive access to best in class training, support, marketing and the recognition that comes from partnering with the Pagid brand while providing consumers with the reassurance of best-in-class brake service and repair at garages in their local area.”

Lawrence Bleasdale, Business Development Director at TMD Friction, added: “This new combination of market leader Pagid with innovative service aggregator FixMyCar represents a major move forward for the Pagid brand and its approved garage scheme which is supplied by the National Distributor LKQ ECP.

“Furthermore, FixMyCar are expertly placed to introduce drivers to the approved garages that will then fit the OE quality Pagid products in the correct way, ensuring a seamless experience for the customer every time.”

Launched in 2011, FixMyCar has processed over three million car maintenance requests from drivers to date. It currently receives up to 100,000 new MOT, servicing and repair requests every month.
