Our latest UK Garage Awards
The FixMyCar Garage Awards returned for its fifth annual Awards dinner on 17th November, this year being hosted at the iconic Villa Park in Birmingham. The 2022 Awards promised to be even bigger than before, as the first Awards dinner in two and a half years due to the restrictions of the pandemic.
The awards consisted of 24 categories - the largest total yet - including ‘Best Newcomer’, ‘Best Mobile Mechanic’ and ‘Best Garage’ across each region amongst many more.
Across the entire garage network, approximately 105 garages and mechanics were nominated to compete for the 24 prestigious awards.
Since FixMyCar was founded in 2011, more than 5.4 million jobs have been completed by registered garages and mechanics through the site, with over 27 million quotes generated since that time.

Al Preston, Co-Founder of FixMyCar, said:
“It’s been a pretty extraordinary two and a half years given everything that’s gone on in the world, and we are delighted to have everybody back in one room to celebrate the performance of our best garages over a very difficult time.”
This year's Awards were hosted by none other than British legend Matt Dawson. The ex England Rugby player provided a charismatic and supremely funny touch to the evening as the after-dinner speaker and Award nominations host.
Sponsors for the awards included our headline sponsors RAC Approved Garages, Green Flag, eBay, Shell, Bosch and NGK plus many more.
