FixMyCar has partnered with Amazon to help deliver its Ship-To-Store Programme across the UK.

FixMyCar, the UK’s largest independent online car maintenance marketplace, has provided a dedicated Ship-To-Store (STS) programme platform through which Amazon customers can now book a professional tyre fitting installation using any of its over 15,000 approved garages.

The fixed price service gives motorists the option of adding a tyre installation to their basket on Amazon while browsing for car tyres. The tyre is then shipped directly to a chosen garage, and an in-store appointment is scheduled as part of the checkout process.

Sid Murrey, Head of OEM Relationships at FixMyCar, explains: “We are absolutely thrilled that a global brand such as Amazon has chosen to work with FixMyCar to help power their passenger car tyre installation service in the UK.

“This complimentary offering for motorists, backed by Amazon’s Happiness Guarantee, means choosing, buying and fitting tyres on your car has never been easier.”

Launched in 2011, FixMyCar has processed over three million car maintenance requests from drivers to date. It currently receives in excess of 50,000 new MOT, servicing and repair requests every month.

FixMyCar currently operates a number of successful ‘fit it now’ online partnerships with some of the biggest names in the UK automotive sector including Halfords and the RAC.
