Two Tips from our Top Performing Garages: are your quotes and profile as effective as they could be?

Here at WhoCanFixMyCar.com we like our garages to be as helpful as possible to drivers when quoting on service/repair work – after all both parties benefit from a well-structured quote or an informative profile page. So here we’re reviewing a few best practices. So what are the key ingredients here?

  • First, the quote offers some reassurance about the thoroughness of the service. Alternatively you could mention the quality of parts being fitted.
  • Second, the quote shows experience, in identifying a possible (but not certain) cause of the locking issue.
  • Third, availability is mentioned.
  • Fourth, the driver is encouraged to look at the latest reviews on the garage’s profile.
  • You could also mention collection and delivery (if offered), or your convenient location.

  • Second, it’s explained early on where the garage can be found.
  • Third, it’s clear what repairs the garage is able to carry out, and that their standards are high.
  • Fourth, the additional benefits (e.g. collection/delivery) are stated.
  • Fifth, the driver is encouraged to look at the latest reviews on the garage’s profile – a key factor in trusting a new garage.
  • Last, but not least – don’t forget to upload a photo of the team, or your garage if you still haven’t done so!
