What is FixRated?
FixRated is FixMyCar’s approved garage network. It connects drivers with garages and repairers who take pride in upholding the highest standards in the auto repair industry.
FixRated garages must meet our criteria for exemplary workshops, with excellent customer reviews and industry-recognised customer service processes. In return, members receive numerous benefits to help them win more jobs and grow their businesses.

1. Personalised account management from FixMyCar A member of our National Account team will be available to support you and your business as a FixRated Garage
2. Opportunities for growing third-party fleet and warranty work The FixRated Assessment will identify garages that have the capability to take on third-party fleet and warranty work. If this is something you’re interested in, please contact your account manager for more information.
3. Expert tips and advice on request to help you grow your business In addition to advice and support from your account manager, by consenting to receive marketing emails from us you’ll receive emails including a wide range of business management advice and tips exclusive to FixRated garages.
4. Increased credibility and enhanced business visibility Our communication with drivers will reinforce and promote the high quality of FixRated garages, providing your business with greater credibility and greater visibility amongst garage listings.
5. Access to the latest training modules from our partners As a FixRated garage, you can receive information about the latest training from some of our partners, enabling you to upskill and enhance your team.
6. Physical FixRated merchandise to display in your garage for customers We’ll be sending you FixRated merchandise to display in your garage to help customer identify you as a FixRated garage of high quality and standards.
7. A digital FixRated badge for your website, emails and FixMyCar profile We’ll also send you a digital FixRated logo to use on your website, in emails and most importantly on your garage profile to help drivers identify you as a high-quality garage in job listings.
FixRated, in partnership with The Motor Ombudsman
As part of our FixRated Network you’re required to be accredited by an official industry body as a mark of commitment to high standards. Our preferred accreditation partner is The Motor Ombudsman (TMO) and membership with TMO comes with additional support for your business.
Being accredited to The Motor Ombudsman and its Chartered Trading Standards Institute-approved Code of Practice for Service & Repair is a ‘kitemark of quality’. It shows that your business is committed to meeting the high expectations of consumers, helps raise standards across the industry, and enables an open and transparent way of doing business.

What happens if I wish to refund my TMO membership?
Garages can claim a refund from TMO within 14 working days of purchase. However, should the garage end up in an ADR process in this time, they will not be eligible for immediate removal until the ADR process is completed.
What does it mean if I am unsuccessful in my FixRated application?
The garage will still have access to their current FixMyCar jobs, and we can work with them to help make them qualify for FixRated.
What if I'm already part of an ADR professional body?
If you’re already part of an ADR professional body, you can join FixRated by paying a £150 admin fee to enable us to vet and align your ADR criteria with our processes.
