The head mechanic is hardworking and his team do well with every day problems but they have accounting/office/third party issues that need sorting out. My first contact was to get brake pads/discs repaired. I found them on this site. The work was GOOD. The paperwork/invoice was not provided and was told it would be available later but I never got it so I don't know if VAT is included or not. Since then I have used the garage for a number of repairs which have been GOOD. Invoicing/paperwork remains an issue. They changed ownership recently but the work the mechanics do inhouse continues to be GOOD. NB!!! Check payment methods IN ADVANCE as we expected to pay by card, as before but, since the change in management, were told after recent repairs that they would only accept cash/cheque. They still have the card machines/signs on display so it is a big worry. Also check IN ADVANCE the work will be done inhouse as we recently suffered as our vehicle was sent off to another garage for some repairs and still had to pay Beechwood. It was alot of money and there are still problems. This is an ongoing issue and hope it will be resolved soon because the Beechwood work was GOOD but the 'repairs' done by the 3RD PARTY WERE NOT. Plus, not being able to pay with a card has made it more difficult to get the money back. So, would I recommend them? With the reservations I've mentioned which is why I give them 3 stars.
They fixed to a high standard, the only thing was I thought they were going to put coolant in my new radiator but they just put water. No I have to drain the radiator to replace with recommend fluid. As the winter is nearly upon us this needs to be correct.
