Compare left and right side performance for symmetry. Control Arm & Bushing Condition Assessment-Inspect upper and lower control arms for cracks, warping, or corrosion. Check rubber and polyurethane bushings for excessive movement, tears, or hardening. Measure control arm alignment angles against factory tolerances. Ball Joint & Tie Rod End Inspection-Physically test ball joints and tie rods for excessive play using dial indicators and leverage tools. Inspect dust boots and lubrication points for damage or contamination. Check for binding or stiffness that can impact steering smoothness. Wheel Alignment Verification-Check front and rear camber, caster, and toe angles using laser alignment systems. Identify uneven tire wear patterns caused by misalignment.
