Having spent nearly 10 years in the automotive industry, I have had the fortune of working in an industry I’m truly passionate about. Before starting work, I completed a 3-year course in light vehicle maintenance, covering a range of topics including motorsport and industrial welding; this gave me the foundations that allowed me to excel in my career as a hands-on Technician. I’ve worked with prestigious brands like Volkswagen, Arriva, the AA which has given me experience with passenger and commercial vehicles along with buses and I love the variety of vehicles I worked on whilst at the AA. Throughout my career to date, I’ve picked up a lot of knowledge across diagnostics and resolution and I’m keen to share that experience with others. I’ve worked well as an individual using my own initiative but also enjoy contributing to team-based work. Having had the opportunity to supervise shifts, I’ve picked up the ability to work under pressure, manage people, prioritizes tasks and troubleshoot issues.
