South Wales Wet Belt & Service Centre is a specialist garage based in Bridgend, just ten minutes from Junction 35 of the M4, working on cars, vans, and commercial vehicles. We handle everything from routine servicing and wet belt replacements to fast-fit work and fleet maintenance for cars, vans and commercial vehicles of all sizes. How It Started The business launched as a van sales operation, and it quickly became obvious that our customers needed more than a good vehicle; they also needed somewhere reliable to look after it. Andy, who has over 35 years in the motor trade running sales centres and main dealerships at management level, made the decision to expand into servicing and repairs. The goal was straightforward: give vehicle owners from across South Wales a single, trusted place for everything they need, whatever they drive. A Family Business, Built on Experience South Wales Wet Belt & Service Centre is family-run in the truest sense. Andy leads the business and oversees the sales side. His wife manages the admin, and his brother works on the tools as one of our qualified mechanics, with a strong commercial vehicle background. Alongside them, we have an apprentice mechanic, a driver, and a vehicle preparation specialist who ensures every car or van leaving the forecourt or workshop is properly presented. It’s a small team, and that’s deliberate. You’ll always deal with people who know what they’re talking about. What We Work On We work on cars, vans and light commercial vehicles. Our 5.5-6 tonne ramp handles anything in that range, and we’re adding a second ramp shortly to increase capacity. Our services include: Routine servicing (in and out of warranty) Wet belt and cambelt replacement Clutches, brakes, and fast-fit repairs DPF cleaning Wheel balancing and laser alignment Class 4 MOT Fleet servicing and maintenance contracts We’re also set up to arrange any additional specialist work your vehicle might need, with no disruption to you. Where We Are & How We Work We’re based in Bridgend, with easy access from the M4 at Junction 35. Cardiff, Swansea, Porthcawl, and the Bridgend Valleys are all within our servicing area. On-site parking is available, and if you need to head into Bridgend town centre or the train station while your vehicle is with us, we can arrange a lift. It’s that kind of place.
