Very refreshing to speak to a mechanic who actually thinks about the problem and what might be causing it rather than just change all possible parts and charge a fortune (ie a main dealer). Car was with BMW for a month and they couldn’t fix it. Anthony suggested it was likely to be electronic, reset the ECU and the problem was gone. As I’d already bought the parts he changed them anyway (at my request) and did a great job. My only niggle, and this is meant as helpful advice, is the state of the workshop. I would suggest a thorough spring clean and face lift as a lot of people might be put off by the mess. Great mechanic though.
