Clutch Replacement, Land Rover FreelanderCurrently in proceedings of taking Surrey Auto Care to court. My Car needed the clutch replaced, I phoned Surrey Auto Care and they advised they would fix the clutch for a total of £500 and they would pick up the car. Surrey Auto Care advised i would get the car back the next day, this was incorrect i waited 3 days and had to phone them everyday chasing them. They dropped the car off with a big scratch on the back, they would only let me pay via cash no card payments. They also changed the price last minute and added another £60 on. I had big trouble getting an invoice from them, I made several phone calls over a week and i finally got the invoice sent through. As i had so much trouble i had recorded all of our telephone conversations as i knew something wasn't right. The clutch was slipping so i took it to another company who advised not only was it not fitted correctly and the slave cylinder was missing and it was also an old clutch they had fitted. I also had various other problems with the car due to their negligence. The damage they caused is over £1000 to fix. I have all the parts and pictures and a detailed report from the new garage I used. I have sent them letters and emails advising of the damage and they have just ignored me. Worst garage i have ever used.
Car Won't Start - Mobile, Ford FocusI have paid £550 to have my car repaired (they kept the car for 2 weeks at garage which was very odd). I have repeatedly requested an invoice with a breakdown of costs and a receipt...I am still waiting 2 months later. After collecting it ‘repaired’ the first time, it broke down within 24hrs. They came back to collect it and held on to the car another 2 weeks. It turned out that the initial repairs had done nothing to resolve the issues. Once confirmed ready second time, I returned to collect it and it broke down again on my way home. They clearly had no clue what the issue was but proceeded to do some repairs which were not necessary and charge me for something which resolved strictly nothing. This is unacceptable, when you hand your vehicle over to a professional, you expect a professional service. This was far from and I am out of pocket for £550 which they have made no effort to recompense, not even partially.
Oil Change, Jaguar XjVery professional, car was picked up promptly, within 2 hours it was diagnosed and next day delivered back. I was kept in the loop during the repair, so need to chase them up. Highly recommended!
Overheating Problems, Jaguar XjVery happy came to my home to fix the car and got the job done
