Great service an excellent communication

Highly recommend.

Good communication , nice people.

Solid work at a decent price.

Great service. Very fast and reliable.
Friendly staff

I would highly recommend The Tyre Shed. They were easy to talk to, explained everything clearly and did an excellent job. Not only did they complete the work in the time promised and for the amount quoted but they didn’t charge me for a couple of extra things that they did.

First time using this garage. They quoted to replace the front brake pads and discs. Called in the morning, i was told to drop off the car the very same day, which was a huge help. They quickly sourced the parts, kept the price affordable, and had the job completed within an hour. The service was efficient and hassle-free from start to finish. Definitely recommend.

It was very good, I would recommend this garage highly. Very good price and service. Work was done the same day!

They was excellent cannot fault at all good job

An MOT is a test of your vehicle's safety, which every car is legally required to have every 12 months, once it reaches three years old.

A full service is recommended every **12 months** or every **12,000 miles**. It’s also appropriate if you think your car needs a more thorough check or it’s not performing as it should.

A full service includes everything in an interim service, plus additional checks (60-80 in total).

- Oil and oil filter replacement
- Brake fluid check and change
- Anti-freeze coolant
- Windscreen wash
- Power steering fluid
- Lights
- Windscreen wipers
- Battery condition
- Charging system
- Exhaust system
- Tyre tread and pressure
- Full brake check
- Steering check
- Shock absorbers check
- Suspension check
- Auxiliary drive belt check
- Wheel alignment check
- Wheel bearing check
- Wheel balance
- Brake fluid condition
- Fuel filter (diesel)
- Spark plug check/replacement (petrol)
- Air filter or cabin filter change

A full service will take around three hours to complete, but it could be longer if any problems are encountered.

The average cost of a full service booked on WhoCanFixMyCar is £178. Drivers who booked a full service through WhoCanFixMyCar in 2021 saved an average of £71.*

Full service

A full service is recommended every 12 months or every 12,000 miles (whichever is sooner). Includes everything in an interim service, plus additional checks and oil and filter replacements.

An interim service is recommended every **6 months** or **6,000 miles** - whichever comes first.

An interim service consists of around 30-50 checks on your vehicle's condition and will typically include:

- Vehicle safety inspection
- [Engine oil and filter change](https://www.whocanfixmycar.com/parts/car-fluids-and-oil)
- Fluid check
- Top up of brake fluid, coolant and screenwash

An [interim service](https://www.whocanfixmycar.com/services/interim-service) is less comprehensive than a full service and, as a result, takes roughly half the time - usually about an hour and a half.

The average cost of an interim service booked on WhoCanFixMyCar is £113. In 2021, drivers who booked an interim service through WhoCanFixMyCar saved an average of £43.*

Regular oil changes are an important part of maintaining your car engine **between services**. Most newer cars have a dashboard warning light to notify you when your oil level is low and in need of an oil change. An oil change service typically includes:

- Engine oil drained and refilled with new oil
- Oil filter replacement
- Service light reset
