We have been established since 1991 previously under the Mr Clutch franchise, we went independent in 2002 branding the garage as Big Johns Auto Centre. We are based in the City Centre of Leicester, specialising in private, fleet and light commercial vehicles. We provide servicing and MOTs, repairs for all makes and models of cars. We also repair manual gearboxes, service brakes, replace clutches and suspension. We offer a 'while you wait service' and we can offer you a courtesy car (if available). Towing in can be arranged if your car will not make it to the garage.

An MOT is a test of your vehicle's safety, which every car is legally required to have every 12 months, once it reaches three years old.

A full service is recommended every **12 months** or every **12,000 miles**. It’s also appropriate if you think your car needs a more thorough check or it’s not performing as it should. 

A full service includes everything in an interim service, plus additional checks (60-80 in total).

Full service

An interim service is recommended every **6 months** or **6,000 miles** - whichever comes first. 

An interim service consists of around 30-50 checks on your vehicle's condition and will typically include:
