Replaced a wheel bearing, however a brake hose bracket was broken in the process and not reported. This had to be later fixed by BMW main dealer as it was a brake safety issue. Also I was advised by Many Autos that rear diff was making noise when turned manually. After taking it into off the back of that report, BMW confirmed nothing was wrong with the rear diff in a video sent to me proving this. Sent this video to Many Autos, they refused to comment when asked why this was incorrectly advised. Wasted a lot of time and cost me £120 to fix the bracket that was broken and £100 to inspect the diff that turned out to be fine. Worn tyres were the problem in the end, completely overlooked by Many Autos. Would have saved me 2 weeks hassle and £220 if they had identified this in the first place.
The garage came and collected my car as agreed however they promised a drop off between 4pm and 6pm. The garage did not drop my car back until 8pm. Unfortunately, as it was pitch dark I couldn't inspect my car. I inspected the repair (EGR Cooler) on Saturday morning and all was well however upon inspection of my car I noticed that they had clipped my car off an object. There is a large scrape on the driver side rear door, the door handle and also the wheel arch. I took pictures and emailed the garage on Saturday morning. They have not responded, I have taken this to my solicitor to deal with. I can only guess the reason they did not return my car at the agreed time is that it would have been light outside and I would have seen the damage. Very sneaky

Website made it sound like a nice professional garage but really it's a lockup with ramps in a dirty back ally, couldn't fix my car and too be honest I don't think they had any idea how too do it properly as half the parts you need too take off to change the starter motor on my car have not been removed looking at how much road dirt is still on the bolts
The general manner of the people was nice and friendly however I cannot praise their work due to an ever increasing list of faults after having the clutch replaced. First off when I got the car back there was no reverse light or auto rear wipe in reverse, this was down to a loose earth lead which they sorted out the next day when I went back to them. I have since found that the offside inner CV boot has been split (was fine for the MOT only a couple of month prior), had this been in this condition when they carried out the work any self respecting mechanic would have told the owner and in the process of removing the offside driveshaft I have found that the intermediate bearing retainer was held in with only one bolt not two and that was finger tight causing the most awful noise when under any load. Overall I am not impressed at the quality of the work carried out especially as while the quote was reasonable it was not the cheapest one around
Had to chase them to not even get a full quote after diagnosis. Would not recommend.

Christopher, available parts is out of our hands this comes down to the suppliers. We did give plenty of notice to cancel so are surprised you feel this way even though you were updated throughout.
