The basic problem with the car was not discovered or repaired and which I resolved after getting independent advice (from AA). During the original repair, another job was recommedended to be added to the repair list at circa £300 which resulted in yet another problem. Problems were also notified that were not significant and could have resulted in a further unnecessary expenditure of £850. So going in I had one problem and coming out I had two problems. It took more than 3 weeks to get the car going. In trying to explain the induced fault, the garage offered no resolution. As the second repair required removal of the inlet manifold which was now reported cracked, it is more likely that it was cracked on replacement than cleaning of soot. Also, the turbo noise emitted does not bear resemblance to a cracked inlet manifold. The fact a pipe was reported not properly fitting was ignored and the garage hung up on me. I will now need to get this checked out independently - again.
Hi Neil, I am sorry you feel this way, but as the car came into us with your noted fault code PO0089 which you believed to be lift pump, HP sensor or Fuel pump, when it was after investigating a Fuel Pump Regulator. It was noted that the EGR was completely sooted up so you were asked it you would like it cleaned, to which you agreed, so when checking it all out I noticed a crack in the manifold which you were notified about straight away, at that point you didn't see the point in spending the extra on the vehicle so it was cleaning and replaced. I also noted one of the injectors was held in with wood and cable tie and due to your concerns of lack of power and that the car exceeded 265000 miles, I advised on a set of new injectors which would help with the natural running of the vehicle. Now 3 weeks later you tell me you have a turbo noise, which I believe is a whistling sound from the pressure, so therefore air leaking from the manifold and now you have alleged that a pipe was not fitted correctly, well if this was the case the 20mile drive from our garage to your home would have bought up a fault on the vehicle as being Turbo charger under/over boost pressure.
Great service, even gave honest suggestions of what else could be carried out, he confirmed my suspicions and didn’t try to sell me on anything else I didn’t need. Be using these guys again for sure.
Mark went above and beyond for me after a mot station tried to rip me off he came out to look at the car out of hours and returned the next morning (Saturday) with all the parts and got my car bk on the road within the hour. I will be using again and highly recommend this garage, Mark and his son are a great professional polite and efficient team.

Positives - Arrived on time to the job and gave me immediate feedback. Negatives - I still haven't received an invoice despite chasing (given up now) and now I have got the car I have found a series of faults which I would've hoped would get picked up.

Your invoice i have sent to you 5 times now to the email YOU provided me, im very sorry if there is a discrepancy on this but it is info that you text me i acted on!! secondly everything in the car was checked and indeed worked to the point this car looks brand new with no expense spared, when to be pedantic on the rear screen heater when its around 28 degrees c outside is almost impossible to test, especially when the switch lights up. But thank you for your feedback though!!
