Got a cheap quote on getting my front wheels tracked for 30£. Got there and got sent to some other garage to get the job done ( they couldnt see me the same day) after having already paid for the job at m60s and even if I specifically stated that I need it done the same day. ( I WOULD NOT ASK YOU TO FIX IT IF YOU WOULDVE TOLD ME THAT YOU CAN NOT HONOUR YOUR WORDS). I was asked to come back the second day which I could not do. I had to leave the country for a while and when I got back it took another few trips (foe example I've booked an appointment for 10am on a saturday..got there and got asked to come back a few hours later?! I HAVE BOOKED IT A FEW DAYS IN ADVANCE!!! ) to have other issues sorted out except for what I have paid for before...I am VERY UNHAPPY with the garage...it seems like nobody gives a damn about you..things not being fixed in time...nobody calls you when the car is done IF it;s done..ive been insisting on the phone and now im really angry after spending way too much money on taxis when I couldve spent 10-15£ more and fix it asap. Also, on the same number im speaking with 3 different guys...1 is alright the other 2 seem not to know much about whats going on..i dont know how the garage has the rating it has because they definitely didnt care about me and my car.
Clutch, gear oil, and engine mounting. Price was good.
Zak at M60 Autos was fantastic! He called me to discuss pricing and offered to do the job in £600 including clutch and flywheel. My car was picked up and dropped off and I decided to get a full service done as well. Very helpful, friendly and customer-centred! Will be coming again for anything in the future. Definitely recommend!
got it done but they knackered my radio and dvd and kept ringing saying this was wrong and that was wrong with the car it only went in for a clutch so no I would not say I was happy also got no receipt on payment
Cannot fault the service at this garage. They absolutely go out of their way to accommodate and leave you feeling very reassured. They collected and returned the car within a few hours. So far so good.
First of all the guy who collected the car was great. He came across as a really nice genuine person which is the impression you want when handing over your keys so thank you to him! A few improvements - I was advised to expect pickup between 10am and 11am but unfortunately they didn't turn up until 11:45am which made me miss my 12pm dentist appointment. I was also told it would take 2/3 hours but I got the car back at 5:45pm. Apparently this was due to them not having the fuel filter in stock even though this was discussed as being required for the full service and it would be needed prior to today. Also, I wasn't expecting the car to be valeted for the price but every other time I've had a full car service it's came back clean so I did expect a basic wash/vacuum. Overall, I think these guys are honest and dependable but there are some room for improvements. Thanks
Excellent service. My car was collected and delivered even though I live outside the collection zone. Excellent value for money for a full service and mot. I would recommend this garage.
Booked my Peugeot 206cc in for a Full Service, car was picked up and dropped off at the estimated times stated, the owner collected and he seemed like a nice genuine guy, stuck to the price quoted. Happy with the service provided!
Excellent service. Picked up when promised for MOT and returned car earlier than expected.
good service and friendly
A Very friendly garage and very helpful and go that extra mile to help keep you on the road. thanks chaps
Does what it says on the tin, prompt, accurate and within price quoted. Barry was also able to give me advise about a repair carried out by the main dealer which has prompted me to contact them and get it looked into. Thanks
Responded very quickly to my quote request. Good service. Good price
Good service. Would use again.
Very happy good job done
My car was booked in fast and they picked it up and dropped back to me and the job was done happy upto that point .As for payment I did this over the phone I left the £120 in my account they rang back to say payment was VOID I checked my bank and advised them the money had gone they said they would call me back . 5 mins later they rang and said payment had not gone through and they could not release my car so I would have to pay again I did not have any more money so I told them I only had £120 in my bank and it had gone we’re they told me if I only had £120 in my account that’s why it didn’t go through most stupid thing I’ve ever heared so I said I would lend the money I need my car .So I rang the bank and was told they had took the money and don’t pay them again so I got garage on the phone and the bank told them and they returned my car I would not use them again I don’t think they were trying to scam me but don’t like the way they tell me they won’t return my car when it was no fault of mine
They are not Genuine. I they gave me a quote to replace both front shock absorbers and passenger side rear speed sensor for £200. they call me next day to go and pick up the car. and stated that front shock absorbers didn't need changing. but still charged me £168 to replace the sensor. went back to the MOT center and they failed the shock absorbed. i went back to the garage to get done for the price originally quoted. they said that the quote was wrong (that is was done by who can fix my car not them), and they recon that it was their mistake. but however to do the job i need to pay and extra £260. so be careful before you take your car there as i believe they have bad faith and DISHONEST.
Quoted 50 pound rang as fort was very cheap to be told the price was wrong then reqouted for 60 again still very cheap was told my appoimwnt was booked for 4pm on Friday no problems phoned them Friday around 2 pm asked if I could come earlier around 3pm as I would finished work early lady said on phone said no my appointment was at 4 to call then.. turn up to get the job done to be told it was gonna be more money and they ain't even ordered the parts. Could told me that on the phone before sitting in traffic for a hour to be told nothing can be done we can reboot you in but not sure what price basicly see you later also fix my car customer service is shocking as well just put the phone down on you... shite service all in all
Got there in the morning at 930 am as the booking was then by 11.30 get told the parts will arrive at 4pm then went back at 4pm and left at 6.15 the job is done for a good price but took all day.
Kept me informed and was very helpful will definitely use again.
Nice guy, came when he said he would, quick and easy
was very happy with the service
Did not turn up as we agreed
After having problems with other garages it was refreshing to finally find this one. The garage is competent, timely and keenly priced. Above all the honesty and willingness to help stands them in good stead. I will be recommending this garage to others. Cheers guys
Great team at the garagle! Ken is very knowledgeable is very knowledgeable and straight forward. Fixed my issues within the day and even offered one of his vehicles while mines was being fixed!
Price was quoted and didn't change. Extremely fast, even picked the car up from work and delivered it back for free! Would recommend and use again myself !
Great service, friendly staff and a great job well done. Good value too as the car definitely needed work. Will use again.
There are three ways of dealing with rust on a car with all methods having their own drawbacks and advantages.
If your car has a large build-up of rust, it is not the end of the world as it can be removed using specialist materials and equipment.
You can try to remove rust using chemicals bought in a shop, however you will need to follow the instructions properly and be careful when applying the substance as it can be dangerous to touch. We would recommend finding a professional to carry out the work as they will be able to understand which way of removing the rust from your car will be the most effective.
Removing rust mechanically will can involve the use of grinders, wire brushers, sandpaper and sand blasters.
By using mechanical methods to remove rust means that the rust will be blasted away from the surface of the metal.
Depending on the extent of the rust, different methods of mechanical removal will be used.
Minor rust damage can be removed by using sandpaper that you will be able to buy from any DIY shop. The type of sandpaper is important as you do not want to damage the underlying metal so make sure to find out which is the appropriate grain.
If there is a heavy build-up of rust, a stronger approach is required.
Sandblasting involves shooting large amounts of sand against the rust which brakes it down into fine particles and off the metal surface.
It’s a highly effective method for removing rust from your car however only a trained professional with the right tools should carry out the work, this is because the sand could damage the underlying metal permanently.
There are several paints on the market which claim to be able to stop the onset of rust completely. The effectiveness of these paints will vary depending on the extent of the rust damage and quality of the product.
Rust paints are extremely flammable and so should be handled with extreme care. The pot that the paint comes in will carry specific instructions so follow these exactly in order to remove the rust.
Acidic rust removal products can also be easily bought and applied however we would once more like to recommend using a professional to carry out the work.
By applying the acid to the rusted area, the liquid attacks the rust itself and burns it away.
Once more, it is essential that you follow the instructions on the container as the acid is extremely strong and if it is left on the surface of your car, it will continue to burn into the metal of your car once the rust is gone.
You’ll also need specialist breathing equipment if you are going to be carrying out the work as the fumes that are emitted from the acid are dangerous to inhale.
These are the best methods for removing rust from your car and you would be surprised just how effective they can be if performed properly.
However, its vital that you understand what type of damage you actually have in order to apply the correct fix.
If there is any doubt in your mind, the last thing you should do is try to remove rust as you will inevitably cause more damage!
