Great service, thoroughly recommend and will be going back
Fantastic! Exactly what I was expecting. Excellent service. Thank you
Very impressive service, decent outfit and all within a great price. Appreciated their efforts in dropping first me at work which wasn't too far away and then later my car. Have no hesitation in recommending them for great value and service will certainly keep them in mind for future work.
I received such an excellent service from VRS in East Tilbury that I am more than willing to inform as well as convince all my friends to send their cars to this particular garage. I am a happy and satisfied customer and so I will be a returning customer with all of my friends and family. Great management and a great team. In summary; Quality work + reasonable price + within reasonable time = Super customer satisfaction.
Very good service, liked that old parts are available for inspection for total transparency. Would highly recommend
An excellent and efficient service. My car was picked up and dropped off on the same day, and I was kept informed of progress throughout the process. Vehicle Repair Services also offer excellent value for money and the price for my cambelt replacement was half the amount quoted by the dealer. Definitely recommended!
I am always wary about handing my car keys over for a collect and deliver services. However I found VRS to be honest and reliable. The delivered on what they promised, collected and delivered as expected. Labour costs were reasonable and they were able to source the cheapest parts. Tom was particularly honest and advised me against driving the car as he identified a dangerous wheel bearing which required urgent attention. They changed the water pump and cam belt, wheel bearing and got the car through MOT. Overall fair and reasonable service provided in good time, and I would very much recommend VRS in Tilbury. I am very upset with this mechanic, my husband notice the underneath of my car had been damage by him jacking the car in the wrong spot. He did come back to have a look, it wasn't there before only when he left we see it. There is no jacking point to my A2 you have to be very careful. I have learnt from this and will not be using them again terrible.
Excellent and friendly service, did a quick turnaround on the vehicle and at a great price. Very highly recommended.
Cam belt and water pump fitted.great job done would use again
Friendly and efficient, and I liked the fact that they talked me through things. They didn't just fix the clutch but gave me information about how to put the oil in etc and how to look after my car which I really appreciated. They ccarried out the work promptly and were very professional. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.
Fantastic job, quicker than I was expecting and without a hitch. Car runs better than when I bought it. Highly recommended
Nice Customer service and get a clear idea about car's problem.
Excellent comms and service. Quick to answer/return calls, kept up to date in all matters, always felt that I was getting 5* service. Had a small problem (squeal/rubbing noise) which they resolved quickly. Fully recommended.

If your car is leaning to one side when you are driving around your local area there could be a major issue, however there may also be a very simple fix which is why we have produced this guide to help you understand more about the issue.
Before we start exploring some of the most common causes of a car leaning to one side or the other, we would like to stress that you will need to take your car into a garage to properly diagnose the issue.
Only a trained professional will be able to tell you exactly what is wrong with your car!
Tire conicity occurs when there is a defect in the tire itself and comes from the result of poor manufacturing. Surprisingly, this is most common in new tires and the problem can cause major pulling to one side or the other.
So what causes the problem? Essentially there is a belt inside the tyre itself, if the belt is not aligned properly then the shape of the tyre will be different than other on your car.
Each tyre should have a bump all the way along the middle of the tyre and with a belt of out alignment, this bump could disappear and the entire surface of the tyre would therefore grip the road.
The car would then pull on one side more than the other as a result.
You will have to have a new tire fitted if this is the case and you may be able to get a free replacement if this is the problem, however it will depend entirely on the manufacturer and extent of the fault.
Tire separation may also become an issue as this causes problems between the belt and the rubber.
When air get in between the two, the tyre is at huge risk of failure and the speed of your car will be noticeably slower.
Low air pressure is one of the most common causes of a car pulling to the left or right as every tire will lose pressure over time.
Even in one tire, low air pressure can cause wheels to move out of alignment while also changing the height of the wheel itself.
It’s important that you check tyre pressure every six weeks or so and especially before long journeys as the effects of low tire pressure could have detrimental knock on effects for the suspension and other parts of your car.
It’s important to make sure that all of the tyres that are fitted to you car are in the same category and from the same manufacturer. This is because the tread of the tyre needs to be the same on all four, if you have a tyre with a different tread on one side then it may not have the same amount of grip as the others and alternatively, it may have more which would cause the car to pull to one side or the other.
It’s important to remember that any wheel alignment or tyre issue will effect the car at all times, not at certain points. For example, if your car lists to one side while you brake, then the issue is with the brakes, not alignment.
However, that’s not to say that brakes can’t cause your car to pull left or right. This can happen when a brake is ‘dragging’.
This happens when a wheel and brake pad are connecting without the driver pressing the brake pedal. A distinctive burning smell will be noticeable if you are suffering from this problem.
If the suspension in your car is damaged, this could also cause your car to lean to one side or the other.
If your car pull’s both left and right at different time’s, then it won’t be alignment that is causing the issue and there is likely to be a different issue.
One example of this could be a ‘memory steer’ which refers to how a car can pull to one side after a driver has steered hard in one direction and then turned the car straight, only to find it listing.
This is likely to be some form of wear down of parts.
It is absolutely vital that you take your car for repair as soon as you feel that your car is pulling to the left or right.
