Micheal is indeed an amazing mechanic, not only is he knowledge about cars, he is friendly and honest. I contacted him about my Automatic Yaris because the clutch was playing up. I'd already had an AA call out . I called Toyato to book a check up, they told me it would cost £144 excl VAT for a diagnostic before even working on it. When I got in contact with Mike, he said it would cost £55. Mike knew exactly what was wrong with car, he was able to order the same (original) parts used by Toyota from the same manufacturers who supply to Toyota. He repaired my car at half the cost that I would have paid with Toyota. Throughout the week, he kept me informed and when I got my car back all was explained clearly in layman terms to me- no mechanical jargon that leaves you feeling stupid or that somehow you've been taken for a ride! I 'm so glad I found him. I have my car back, driving smoothly not hiccuping as it was about a week ago. THANKS MIKE!
Many thanks to Michael Morrison at Sphynx Vehicle Repairs for his excellent work on my Ford Transit T280 van. A couple of weeks ago I took it to him for various things to be done. In addition to some general servicing in preparation for the MOT, I also had two immediate serious problems with leaks in the fuel system and in the coolant system. I only just got to the garage by the time the coolant drained completely. I am certain a less scrupulous garage might have exploited my situation as it would have been at this point very difficult for me to take the van elsewhere. I am very happy to say that didn’t happen. When I left the van with Mike at the garage the engine compartment was an absolute mess due to engine and diesel oil and coolant mixture. Mike’s first task was to thoroughly clean the engine compartment and components and then report to me next day on what he recommended needed to be done. No work was done without proper discussion and agreement and afterwards I received a properly itemised invoice. I left the van with him on Friday and by agreement picked it up on the Tuesday – repaired, serviced and with MOT certificate. I am satisfied that all the work done was work that needed to be done and that his labour and parts were competitively priced. I’ve done 1245 miles since getting the van back from Mike and its performing very nicely. I am able to confidently say that this has been one of the best garage experiences I’ve had in more than 40 years of motoring.
Very good service... On time and very quick... repaired my faults even tho I ha d miss diagnosed and what was clearly needed was more work than quoted. Still charged same price... even took me to cashpoint and back. LEGEND.
My experience of major service + MOT (BMW 1 series) has been great with Car Technic. Daniel is a very competent mechanic who knows his business well. He is polite and easy to deal with. I really liked his frequent, honest and straightforward communication. No pushing whatsoever...... He also identified/rectified an issue which had been caused by some dodgy work by another bloke months ago. Anyway car seems to be in great shape..... Thank you!

Could Never Recommend this Garage - Agreed price was £50 for diagnosing issue. Then Anthony said he could recalibrate lock if he had an extra 3hrs. They closed in 30mins when I collected car he wanted £150. He said he recalibrated lock however it was gauranteed to fail! So why recalibrate? Started car no lights, worse experience ever..stay well clear.
a great friendly service, saved me over £800 on a main dealer quote by inspecting what needed to be replaced rather than fitting a new DMF along with the clutch kit as per the main dealer. contacted me about worn brakes also and quoted a very reasonable price. All the work was done to a high standard and on time ..

Better service than any other garage I have ever been to. Don't think you will get a better mechanic in London. Talked through all the problems and diagnosed the car fully. Very happy with the whole job and would use again.

A brilliant service from Jagg. The car was ready on the same day, the works carried out were as expected and was offered a fantastic price. Will definitely be using Jagg again in the future!
Started off with a timing belt change. However, when got there Jagg explained to me other parts that may require attention and how it would be useful replacing those parts as well due to the labour work. So with my timing belt, I had my fan belt, power steering belt and water pump replaced. It's been about two weeks since I've had the job done and I must say I am very happy with the service and job. Thanks Jagg and will make sure to use your garage again.
Had clutch problems and couldn't move my car. Jagg managed to pick my car up and fix my clutch very quickly. Excellent customer service too, he was very friendly.

If it would be possible I would give zero star for this garage. Outrageous service, I am not sure if I can call that "service". The owner of this garage is extremely rude, phlegmatic and DISRESPECTFUL! And according to my opinion he is probably racist towards Eastern-European people! First, we discussed the time and the date when for a 1 and half hour work to fix my car. But when I arrived there at the first time (in the arranged time), they did not fix my car because they said I am late. I am just saying we were communicating via this website in chat form, so I have everything in written form. I can prove everything. I was not late. I thought I can give them a second chance (because of their really good price), so we discussed the time and date again via this website, and I went there again in the arranged time, but the same thing happened, but this time the owner of the garage was even yelling to me! Their price offer was so good (£120 cheaper from any other offer), thus I gave them a third chance. But this time I called them before I go there (since I did not want to waste my time and fuel again), they confirmed I can go immediately and they will fix my car (they said it will take 1 and a half hour), but when I arriced there they said I was late again. I arrived there at 10AM and they said I need to leave my car there until 2PM. I told them I work with my car, the only reason I came here on this day in this time because they confirmed I can come here now for 90 minutes work. I told them again, I work with my car, then I got the usual answer from the owner of the garage: "not my problem". Then I left them without any word. They wasted my time and fuel, 3 times and my car is still not fixed! The owner has zero customer service skills, zero flexibility towards customers (his answer to everything: "not my problem, is it?" or "not my business, is it?"). I would never recommend this garage to anyone. Seriously anyone who reads this: AVOID THIS GARAGE!
I don't usually use sites like these to get my car repaired, but i was desperate, so i ended up using this site. Out of all of quotes i got, these guy's came out by FAR the cheapest, at least £100 cheaper than everybody. I thought at first there was a catch, like one of the previous garage's i called on here, they quoted £220 for just the labour and not the parts. But NO these guy's quoted me on exactly how much it would cost ! Quick service, no messing around. They even fitted in some missing clips on my front bumper which was nice of them. And also to top that i asked them how much it would cost to replace my back light bulb and they did that for free too ! Great, quick, reliable service. Will definitely be seeing these guy's again if something (Touch wood nothing) goes wrong ! Daniel.
Paul was very helpful even to the point of picking up my car and returning it. They did a great job. In a good time. I'm just sorry my insurance company were slow on paying up their end. Hopefully now resolved. I will be sending my mums car to him soon. Happy to recommend them to others. AK N14
No I would not recommend this garage. We paid for the vehicle delivered to your garage on the 23/03/16 for a Cam Belt change, we also had the Clutch replaced and Water Pump whilst you had the vehicle, with the understanding that we needed the vehicle back in time for a contract job we was doing. We picked the vehicle up and paid £1050.00 in which we paid when the invoice should have been for £950.00 because we supplied the cam belt kit and drive belt. We paid again for the vehicle to be returned to your garage because the battery went flat and didn’t start on the 30/03/16 and then we had to hire a splitter van to replace ours, for 3 days at a rate of £130.00per day. We paid to have the vehicle to be picked up after you telling me that it was the battery at fault, so we agreed to offset the over payment for a new battery. We used the vehicle on 02/04/16 and that evening the vehicle lost lighting it went dim first and then all the warning lights started to come on. We lost the vehicle hire £100.00 for that day of the 02/04/16, and had subcontract hire at a rate of £150.00 for the 03/04/16 for not having a vehicle to for fill our contract. We did not return the vehicle, because of no confidence. We had the vehicle tested, and we was told that the Alternator was faulty so I replaced it myself after taking a photo of the of its position then still getting the right reading from the new Alternator the vehicle was taken to an Auto Electric Technician in which we found that your garage had put the alternator belt on incorrect so it was turning the wrong direction, so we didn’t need a battery or an alternator because the vehicle never had a starting or charging problem before it went to you plus the damage to be repaired at a cost £150.00 This is a breakdown of our invoice to you of our losses.
