Great service - was able to diagnose and fix a problem quickly, at short notice and at the estimated cost. Michael was very pleasant to deal with and clearly explained (and even demonstrated) what the fault had been.

Thank you for an excellent and prompt service, Highly recommended would defiantly use again.
A great pleasure ti do business with. picked up my car and returned it with mot anf full report and seviced. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a good mechanic.
Daniel was great, very good at communicating and very reliable. He dropped the car back where I live having had a really good clean which made my life a lot easier too. I will definitely use him again and great to have found a reliable independent mechanic which will probably save me lots of money versus taking it to the main dealers in the future.
Great service. Would definatly use again.
It was my first time in this garage the good review made me choose it and I was not disappointed. Daniel was very friendly and professional he brought my car back to my house and cleaned it in and out, my car was like brand new I was very happy. Highly recommend this garage.

Verry professional and friendly garage I won't go any were else now . Paul couldn't have been more helpful thanks
Car in and out in the day allotted, quote was followed apart from two small extras which is absolutely fine as couldn't have been known until the car was in. All delivered and picked up by my father as I can't drive at the moment who said the car was running very well so all good so far!
Quick and great service!
No I would not recommend this garage. We paid for the vehicle delivered to your garage on the 23/03/16 for a Cam Belt change, we also had the Clutch replaced and Water Pump whilst you had the vehicle, with the understanding that we needed the vehicle back in time for a contract job we was doing. We picked the vehicle up and paid £1050.00 in which we paid when the invoice should have been for £950.00 because we supplied the cam belt kit and drive belt. We paid again for the vehicle to be returned to your garage because the battery went flat and didn’t start on the 30/03/16 and then we had to hire a splitter van to replace ours, for 3 days at a rate of £130.00per day. We paid to have the vehicle to be picked up after you telling me that it was the battery at fault, so we agreed to offset the over payment for a new battery. We used the vehicle on 02/04/16 and that evening the vehicle lost lighting it went dim first and then all the warning lights started to come on. We lost the vehicle hire £100.00 for that day of the 02/04/16, and had subcontract hire at a rate of £150.00 for the 03/04/16 for not having a vehicle to for fill our contract. We did not return the vehicle, because of no confidence. We had the vehicle tested, and we was told that the Alternator was faulty so I replaced it myself after taking a photo of the of its position then still getting the right reading from the new Alternator the vehicle was taken to an Auto Electric Technician in which we found that your garage had put the alternator belt on incorrect so it was turning the wrong direction, so we didn’t need a battery or an alternator because the vehicle never had a starting or charging problem before it went to you plus the damage to be repaired at a cost £150.00 This is a breakdown of our invoice to you of our losses.
Paul was very helpful even to the point of picking up my car and returning it. They did a great job. In a good time. I'm just sorry my insurance company were slow on paying up their end. Hopefully now resolved. I will be sending my mums car to him soon. Happy to recommend them to others. AK N14
I don't usually use sites like these to get my car repaired, but i was desperate, so i ended up using this site. Out of all of quotes i got, these guy's came out by FAR the cheapest, at least £100 cheaper than everybody. I thought at first there was a catch, like one of the previous garage's i called on here, they quoted £220 for just the labour and not the parts. But NO these guy's quoted me on exactly how much it would cost ! Quick service, no messing around. They even fitted in some missing clips on my front bumper which was nice of them. And also to top that i asked them how much it would cost to replace my back light bulb and they did that for free too ! Great, quick, reliable service. Will definitely be seeing these guy's again if something (Touch wood nothing) goes wrong ! Daniel.
If it would be possible I would give zero star for this garage. Outrageous service, I am not sure if I can call that "service". The owner of this garage is extremely rude, phlegmatic and DISRESPECTFUL! And according to my opinion he is probably racist towards Eastern-European people! First, we discussed the time and the date when for a 1 and half hour work to fix my car. But when I arrived there at the first time (in the arranged time), they did not fix my car because they said I am late. I am just saying we were communicating via this website in chat form, so I have everything in written form. I can prove everything. I was not late. I thought I can give them a second chance (because of their really good price), so we discussed the time and date again via this website, and I went there again in the arranged time, but the same thing happened, but this time the owner of the garage was even yelling to me! Their price offer was so good (£120 cheaper from any other offer), thus I gave them a third chance. But this time I called them before I go there (since I did not want to waste my time and fuel again), they confirmed I can go immediately and they will fix my car (they said it will take 1 and a half hour), but when I arriced there they said I was late again. I arrived there at 10AM and they said I need to leave my car there until 2PM. I told them I work with my car, the only reason I came here on this day in this time because they confirmed I can come here now for 90 minutes work. I told them again, I work with my car, then I got the usual answer from the owner of the garage: "not my problem". Then I left them without any word. They wasted my time and fuel, 3 times and my car is still not fixed! The owner has zero customer service skills, zero flexibility towards customers (his answer to everything: "not my problem, is it?" or "not my business, is it?"). I would never recommend this garage to anyone. Seriously anyone who reads this: AVOID THIS GARAGE!
They were great :)
its very good i got good service
Very good service
Nobody contacted me the garage did not even call me and this is two attempts to use a service from this site with no one getting back to arrange an appointment had to use Kwikfit to get my car done
Did not use the garage
Great service and price. BMW 5 Series, full service & MOT reasonable price. I strongly recommended. Thanks again
Really nice guys. Well happy with the work
The work itself was really excellent, however i guess this is the problem with a lot of local garages, there isn't a lot of paper work involved. My piece of advice would be to put a bit more confidence in customers- so let us know who is picking up the car and where it's going. However like I said the work itself was great!
They did a great job fixing my wife's car at short notice and at a good price.Nice people. I would thoroughly recommend this garage and will be using it again.
Absolutely great bodywork. Very reasonable price. There was an issue with collecting my car and had to drop it at the garage as they didn't have spare drivers to collect but the work itself was very good.
Very friendly people and a fantastic job
Diesel Particulate Filters are extremely important to have in your vehicle. The filter captures and stores exhaust soot in order to help reduce emissions coming from diesel cars.
Ever since 2009, the Euro 5 standard has been enforced, a rule which ensures all new diesel cars must have particulate filters fitted.
These pieces of equipment were introduced in an effort to reduce the particle and soot emissions from diesel engines. Diesel Particulate filters (DPF) trap soot before it blows out of an exhaust and like any filter, it requires cleaning in order to maintain performance.
Fortunately the filter itself has self-cleaning capabilities known as regeneration.
There are two types of regeneration which can be carried out on your car.
This process happens automatically while the exhaust is at a high temperature which will usually occur when you are driving down a motorway or quickly down an A-road. However, as many vehicles aren’t always being driven at high speeds, an alternative system for regeneration exists.
This method of cleaning the DFP is controlled by an engine management computer and happens automatically when the filter reaches 45% of its limit. The process is initiated by the fuel injection being increased which makes the exhaust heat up and therefore clear the filter. However, if your drive is a short one and the process tries to initiate, it will not be able to properly clear the filter, in this eventuality, the warning light in your car will come on.
A drive of about ten minutes at a speed of around 40mph should be adequate for the process to be successful.
If these issues are effecting your car it is almost certain that you will need your filter replacing which is likely to cost upwards of £1000 including diagnostic and labour time.
And if you were thinking of saving all of that time and money by removing the filter completely, think again, it’s illegal to remove the DPF.
The Department for Transport states that it is an offence to remove the filter or modify the piece of equipment in a way which would result in the vehicle failing air pollutant emission standards. Breaking the law will result in the vehicle not being road worthy so if you are ever offered to have your filter removed, make sure to keep this in mind.
Every MOT now includes a check for the DPF and a smoke test from the exhaust so there is very little chance of getting away with removing the filter.
If you need to have the filter regenerated manually, you must take your vehicle to a trained professional immediately. They will initiate a process where the exhaust is heated up to a point where regeneration happens and soot is cleared from the filter.
