Really friendly and quick service
Great price, good service
Did a great job fitting my rear brakes and front tyres. Work was completed during the agreed time frame. Would definitely recommend and will return in the future.
Very good service, I'm very pleased!
Excellent garage worked late into evening to fix my car as i needed it the following day would definatly recommend
good service and very helpful
kevin did a fantastic job replacing the clutch and dual mass flywheel on my BMW, The car now drives like new.
The service Kevin provided was excellent. I would recommend this garage to anyone.
I would definitely go to this Garage again. Thoroughly nice people and the price was very reasonable. Makes a nice cup of tea to.
Very polite and all seemed to go well. I ended up getting 2 jobs done in the end
Would recommend. Polite, knowledgeable and honest mechanic.
Shaun was amazing, had to wait around for hours while the RAC and another garage did their thing and then did what he needed to do. Great price, would highly recommend!!
Shaun tested and concluded a new part was needed. £120 for testing and new part. New part incorrect and Shaun never refunded me the £60 - he's had an accident, is unable to work and refusing to return my calls or messages even though he promised to have a colleague conclude the job. THIS MAN IS FULL OF CRAP AND OWES ME £60 - DO NOT USE HIM
Nice guy, great work and still working months on
Established in 1974, Formula One Autocentres set out with a mission to deliver a completely new fast-fit experience to its customers. This would feature clean, modern premises, high-tech equipment and highly trained technicians; far removed from the kind of service normally associated with the industry.
Forty years down the line, we have grown to become one of the UK’s largest independent autocentre chains. The business remains family owned and continues to uphold its original commitment to delivering the highest quality service at the most competitive prices.
That commitment has proved incredibly popular with motorists, creating many thousands of loyal customers who continue to put their trust in Formula One Autocentres.
As a result, the company has gone from strength to strength, currently boasting over 85 state-of-the-art branches across England, with over 500 highly trained staff working seven days a week to provide a full range of services including tyres, exhausts, batteries, brakes, clutches, MOT's and servicing.
We remain resolutely independent, and as a family owned business, avoid being tied down to any single manufacturer or supplier. This gives us the freedom and flexibility to offer the biggest deals on the widest possible range of top branded products, making the company a viable, attractive and cost-effective alternative to both the big national chains and smaller local independent outlets. Quite simply, Formula One Autocentres provides cost-conscious motorists with the most reliable and affordable means of maintaining their vehicles.
We defend our position at the forefront of the fast-fit industry by constantly evolving and developing innovative new products and services to meet the ever-changing demands of our customers. With an ongoing expansion programme and by regular investment in technology, we continue to provide unbeatable fast-fit service along with the very best value prices. In fact, we can confidently claim that no other company is better equipped to face the motoring challenges of the future.
Hi, my name is Adrian and I am a fully qualified Master Technician who has been working in the motor industry for the last 36 years. I come from a main dealer background and have previously worked in Renault, Jaguar, Kia, Hyundai, Ssanyyong and SAAB main dealers, and I currently work for Mazda.
I established this company 5 years ago, working as a mobile mechanic providing my customers with evening and weekend appointments, at a location and time to suit you. This is usually a great help as it means cars can be fixed outside of standard working hours, meaning you won't have to take any time off work to have your car fixed.
I can carry out all forms of mechanical work from repairs, maintenance work and servicing through to MOT's, on all makes and models of vehicles. All supplied and fitted parts come with a manufacturer parts warranty, which can often be upgraded to offer a lifetime warranty for a small extra fee. I shall also provide a labour guarantee to match that of any parts I supply and fit for your peace of mind.
Payment methods accepted are cash or card at present.
To help you understand more about car servicing for your car, we have the produced the following guide to help you understand the subject in greater detail.
A car service is essentially a check carried out by a mechanic who analyses the essential systems in your car.
They will be looking to make sure the vehicle is safe to drive on the road which is why it is a legal requirement to have you Abarth serviced every twelve months.
A car service is NOT an MOT, even though many of the same parts and systems will be inspected during each.
The difference between an MOT and car service is that an MOT is a standardised check with specific rules and regulations set by the government.
A car service is carried out and fully controlled by the mechanic or garage carrying the work out.
This means that the pricing will change from garage to garage alone as well as from car to car, much like any other repair work.
There are two different types of car service, the interim car service and full car service.
As each service will change from garage to garage, they will carry out different checks and look at different parts.
Therefore it is vital that you are able to talk to more than one garage before you have the job completed. You need to be able to compare price and how thorough the checks will be.
Fortunately you are in the perfect place!
All you have to do is enter the details of your car in the form below and then sit back and relax while local garages send you direct quotes for a full or interim service.
Below you will see what most garages will check during a service however it is always worth checking before you book your car in as some garages may not cover what is listed.
Here are the parts and systems checks as part of most interim car services and full car services;
Most of these parts and systems should be checked during a full car service or interim service, furthermore, if you require a top up of motor oil or any other repairs, you will have to pay an extra charge as a result.
A car service is essentially a full diagnostic to find out about the health of a car, it is not a service where specific repairs are included.
That is why it can help to have interim checks six months before a full service, if there is a minor problem, the interim check would find it and you will be able to resolve the issue before it gets any worse.
However if you do not have an interim check and you have an issue, it will only get worse meaning you will have to pay more money when it is eventually discovered in the full car service.
Finding a mechanic you can trust to do a good job and charge a fair price, is not always easy, which is why we simplified the process.
We work with a network of 10,616 mechanics and garages across the UK so we can find competitive car service deals for you.
You can then compare the quotes and read reviews from previous customers to find the best deal, before booking a full car service or interim car service online.
