Absolutely fantastic service. Rick was a thoroughly nice bloke, picked the car up when he said he would, and dropped it off on time. Can't speak highly enough and will recommend to all!
I was thinking I need to change the power steering pump but Rick discovered is just loose connection. He fix it and clean it. Very friendly and helpful staff.I definitely recommend.
They couldn’t change my gearbox as 5he one I purchased was the wrong type, but 5hey where very helpful & professional & didn’t charge me for any of their time, I would highly recommend them & definitely use them in the future & as and when I purchase the correct gearbox. Many Thanks Tony
I was a bit unsure about changing mechanics as my mechanic retired, but found them very professional and he fitted my clutch, flywheel and dual mass cylinder without any problems. Good mechanic and I intend to use him again, as I'm very happy with the repair and it was at a reasonable price. Much cheaper than the competition and he came and collected the car and returned it as promised.
Excellent customer service

Great service and very professional. I will recommend and use again
Prompt and efficient service.
I couldn't be any more impressed with this place. I had a very noisy exhaust but I couldn't see any holes underneath. I was expecting to need the exhaust replaced. Richardson's quoted me £185 which I would have been happy to pay. It turned out a joint had come lose so I was only charged £45. Excellent customer service. Trustworthy mechanics. Would recommend 100%
Garage completed all the work I asked and also did a safety point check on the brakes etc. It had an oil leak which showed up and they replaced the filter which was rusted. All in all, nice people and a good service. Will use them again!
Excellent friendly service. Efficient. Vehicle checked at time agreed. Advice given and quote provided for what was needed to repair vehicle within time scale agreed. No hesitation in recommending this garage.
Great service, work completed quickly. Would highly recommend!
Established in 1974, Formula One Autocentres set out with a mission to deliver a completely new fast-fit experience to its customers. This would feature clean, modern premises, high-tech equipment and highly trained technicians; far removed from the kind of service normally associated with the industry.
Forty years down the line, we have grown to become one of the UK’s largest independent autocentre chains. The business remains family owned and continues to uphold its original commitment to delivering the highest quality service at the most competitive prices.
That commitment has proved incredibly popular with motorists, creating many thousands of loyal customers who continue to put their trust in Formula One Autocentres.
As a result, the company has gone from strength to strength, currently boasting over 85 state-of-the-art branches across England, with over 500 highly trained staff working seven days a week to provide a full range of services including tyres, exhausts, batteries, brakes, clutches, MOT's and servicing.
We remain resolutely independent, and as a family owned business, avoid being tied down to any single manufacturer or supplier. This gives us the freedom and flexibility to offer the biggest deals on the widest possible range of top branded products, making the company a viable, attractive and cost-effective alternative to both the big national chains and smaller local independent outlets. Quite simply, Formula One Autocentres provides cost-conscious motorists with the most reliable and affordable means of maintaining their vehicles.
We defend our position at the forefront of the fast-fit industry by constantly evolving and developing innovative new products and services to meet the ever-changing demands of our customers. With an ongoing expansion programme and by regular investment in technology, we continue to provide unbeatable fast-fit service along with the very best value prices. In fact, we can confidently claim that no other company is better equipped to face the motoring challenges of the future.
To help you understand more about car servicing for your car, we have the produced the following guide to help you understand the subject in greater detail.
A car service is essentially a check carried out by a mechanic who analyses the essential systems in your car.
They will be looking to make sure the vehicle is safe to drive on the road which is why it is a legal requirement to have you Abarth serviced every twelve months.
A car service is NOT an MOT, even though many of the same parts and systems will be inspected during each.
The difference between an MOT and car service is that an MOT is a standardised check with specific rules and regulations set by the government.
A car service is carried out and fully controlled by the mechanic or garage carrying the work out.
This means that the pricing will change from garage to garage alone as well as from car to car, much like any other repair work.
There are two different types of car service, the interim car service and full car service.
As each service will change from garage to garage, they will carry out different checks and look at different parts.
Therefore it is vital that you are able to talk to more than one garage before you have the job completed. You need to be able to compare price and how thorough the checks will be.
Fortunately you are in the perfect place!
All you have to do is enter the details of your car in the form below and then sit back and relax while local garages send you direct quotes for a full or interim service.
Below you will see what most garages will check during a service however it is always worth checking before you book your car in as some garages may not cover what is listed.
Here are the parts and systems checks as part of most interim car services and full car services;
Most of these parts and systems should be checked during a full car service or interim service, furthermore, if you require a top up of motor oil or any other repairs, you will have to pay an extra charge as a result.
A car service is essentially a full diagnostic to find out about the health of a car, it is not a service where specific repairs are included.
That is why it can help to have interim checks six months before a full service, if there is a minor problem, the interim check would find it and you will be able to resolve the issue before it gets any worse.
However if you do not have an interim check and you have an issue, it will only get worse meaning you will have to pay more money when it is eventually discovered in the full car service.
Finding a mechanic you can trust to do a good job and charge a fair price, is not always easy, which is why we simplified the process.
We work with a network of 11,114 mechanics and garages across the UK so we can find competitive car service deals for you.
You can then compare the quotes and read reviews from previous customers to find the best deal, before booking a full car service or interim car service online.
