Great service, car ready for me coming home from work after contacting on Sunday. Would recommend
They've done an excellent job, they fixed it quickly and my car is working perfectly.
Excellent service and very helpful. Went out their way to get car ready before I was due to go on holiday. Proper diagnosis and repair carried out. No problems since.
Found the problem quickly, did a good job, would use again
First class service as Chrissy picked my car up and kept me informed what was required. Full diagnostics and found a pressure sensor required to enable regen of DPF. Deep cleaned the DPF and fitted sensor . recalibrated all parameters to engine management and now all warning lights etc gone. Cant praise Chrissy enough for truly first class workmanship and service.
Excellent service. Made fully aware of everything regarding my car. Went out his way to make sure car was fixed in a few days. Will definitely not pass this garage as sooooo friendly and cheap. I can't thank Stuart enough he is a true man ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Highly recommended; speedy and honest service, and very approachable and helpful mechanic. They went above and beyond to assist and were transparent about all costs and the work.
Cannot fault the service at RS Motors, its definitely the best garage I've been to and won't be going anywhere else in the future. Highly recommend to everyone!
Over priced, they just love giving you a meaningless report from computer tellling you that 18 modules out of 25 have faults!!!!
Excellent price for replacing and fitting new battery. Certainly the cheapest around. Friendly first class service. Highly recommend.
After our usual garage was unable to take our car we found Farburn Motors online after posting a request on Who Can Fix My Car. Gordon an his team at Farburn were extremely helpful and friendly. He was very efficient and was the only garage to follow our post up with a phone call to explain what else the problem may be, and that if so it would cost less than his original quote. Gordon and his team provided a rescue pick-up service for my car very shortly after our initial phone call that same day. He was open and forthcoming about the potential issues and cost of everything - explaining everything really well. After a free diagnostics of the problem with my car (other garages had quoted up to £108 just to have a look and do nothing else!) he called us later that day with the final price - roughly £200 less than I had anticipated from his initial estimate and £400 less than other garage quotes! So, one day after my clutch broke and posting online, my car has been redelivered back to my house with a 1 year warranty on the parts/ work provided - reassuring me that the work is to a high standard. All in all: great work, friendly team, reliable people and the prices were more than reasonable. I trust Farburn Motors and will be using their services from now on.
Work was carried out to replace timing belt and associated parts and additional belts. Work was done when scheduled and text message to let me know when the car was available for collection.
Really quick, came out to my house to look at the damage. Car is as good as new and very good customer service
Car initialy failed Mot (stabiliser, emissions), Replaced stabiliser link and emissions aid added to fuel, Also repaired puncture and balanced wheel, (nail in tyre).
Quick and timely service; was expecting a mammoth price for MOT checks and repairs but got a really surprising pleasant price. Now I can use car for another year without running towards buying a new one.
I wasn't necessarily expecting a full bill of health following my MOT and the work that needed to be done - replacing three suspension springs - was completed efficiently and professionally. The people at GB England Holdings were extremely friendly and helpful. They clearly explained the outcome of the MOT, the repairs needed and the costs. I felt confident in the company to let them go ahead with the repairs and would definitely use them again.
The cost of servicing, MOT and repairs differ across the country and Aircon Regas is not any different. Labour rates will be higher or lower depending on where in the country you are. The majority of modern cars have air conditioning fitted as standard as it is vital for making the ride in a car comfortable for passengers.
An air conditioning system works by using refrigerant gas to push air through several components in the aircon system and then into your car.
Whether its freezing cold or boiling hot, it’s your air conditioning which makes driving in such conditions bearable, so it’s important to look after the system!
Surprisingly, over 10% of air-con gas escapes through the system each year. This means that the power of the system drops significantly over time. However, your air conditioning will not be checked during an MOT or service which is why it’s important that you make an effort to have it checked specifically.
Car manufacturers recommend that cars should have their air con recharged (Regassed) every two years.
Even if your car is new it should be something that you have checked as your cars performance could be significantly affected.
This is because the engine will have to work harder to produce cold air if there is an issue with the air conditioning meaning more fuel will be required to make the system work.
If the system has not been recharged in two years, the drop in engine performance will be noticeable.
As soon as you realise a drop in the power of your air con you should take the vehicle in for repair. If there is an unpleasant smell being emitted, this is another sign that the air con needs looking at.
The job of recharging air conditioning is not complex and will not take long.
The mechanic will carry out a leaks check on the air con system before the repair work, to ensure the job can be carried out without causing damage to the car.
As soon as this is complete, the technician will be able to recharge the system.
The mechanic carrying out the work will first remove old refrigerant from your car as well as the current gas and lubricant.
They will then replace it with new gas and lubricants.
The job will also typically include an entire system clean out which is carried out to remove any bacterial build up.
This is often the reason for a strange or unpleasant smell being emitted from the air conditioning which is why it is important to have this job completed every two years.
The whole process should take around 45 minutes as there are no new parts required for install.
The air conditioning in your car should be noticeably improved after a regas if you haven’t had one for over two years.
If you want to ensure your air conditioning stays in tip top condition, make sure to use it regularly as this the compressor will stay lubricated.Finding a mechanic you can trust to do a good job and charge a fair price, is not always easy, which is why we simplified the process.
