friendly and did the job in time frame given and considerable cheaper than other places
They worked hard to get my car back to me on the same day, which I was very grateful for. I was happy with the work done and the price was very fair. I received friendly, helpful service and communication, with callbacks being made when promised and appointments kept on time. A “collect and deliver” service was advertised in the features for this garage, but they did not really seem geared up to provide this and I thought the charge of £20 was rather steep for a 2 mile run to the next village. Initially, the quotation did not include the extra work which I had listed in the “additional notes” section, but that was a common factor for other garages who quoted. I would recommend that anyone using whocanfixmycar.com checks with the garage to make sure what has been included before accepting a quote. Overall, using this garage was a good experience compared to others that I have used in the past and I will certainly recommend them to others. If they could offer free collection and delivery for local customers then I think it would make their service outstanding.
I am happy with RA AUTOS
Very good work very helpful i 100% recommend great service
Good and friendly staff who know what they are talking about. All work is spot on. Very helpful and good communication. Very good service and price...can’t recommend them enough. Thank you very much for a very professional job.
Everything was fine, did what was asked
The price was different from the quote i had from here .
very good let me know all things that would need doing in future like tyres needed soon and very quick to do work
Contacted by Bedford Wheels very quickly, and car booked in for next morning as very urgent due to it been brakes. Job completed in the time they said and no 'extras' to pay for and brakes now ok. Thank you.
top guys. great service, price not bad!! recommended!!
Highly recommend as after trying to re charge the gas to find there was a leak in my system. A specialist air con agent was recommended and as a result I was not charged for the service. Excellent
I contacted the company who offered to come and collect my vehicle. They checked the system to ensure there were no gas leaks and that the compressor was working. Once they were satisfied that all was in order they regassed and then measured the system again before returning the car within a few hours. I was impressed by their efficiency and politeness; it was a pleasure to do business with them. Their prices are not inclusive of VAT as stated on your advert but they reduced the charges by £5.00 which went some way to compensate for the difference. Either way because of their good customer service I consider they were excellent value for money and would be happy to recommend them.
The regas was successful however the aircon is still blowing warm air suggesting either the compresser is faulty or there is a malfunctional switch in the aircon system which they could not repair.
Nice garage. Very friendly and helpful guys. Waiting room with a decent coffee machine, lots of magazines and Wi-Fi. Highly recommended

The majority of modern cars have air conditioning fitted as standard as it is vital for making the ride in a car comfortable for passengers.
An air conditioning system works by using refrigerant gas to push air through several components in the aircon system and then into your car.
Whether its freezing cold or boiling hot, it’s your air conditioning which makes driving in such conditions bearable, so it’s important to look after the system!
Surprisingly, over 10% of air-con gas escapes through the system each year. This means that the power of the system drops significantly over time. However, your air conditioning will not be checked during an MOT or service which is why it’s important that you make an effort to have it checked specifically.
Car manufacturers recommend that cars should have their air con recharged (Regassed) every two years.
Even if your car is new it should be something that you have checked as your cars performance could be significantly affected.
This is because the engine will have to work harder to produce cold air if there is an issue with the air conditioning meaning more fuel will be required to make the system work.
If the system has not been recharged in two years, the drop in engine performance will be noticeable.
As soon as you realise a drop in the power of your air con you should take the vehicle in for repair. If there is an unpleasant smell being emitted, this is another sign that the air con needs looking at.
The job of recharging air conditioning is not complex and will not take long.
The mechanic will carry out a leaks check on the air con system before the repair work, to ensure the job can be carried out without causing damage to the car.
As soon as this is complete, the technician will be able to recharge the system.
The mechanic carrying out the work will first remove old refrigerant from your car as well as the current gas and lubricant.
They will then replace it with new gas and lubricants.
The job will also typically include an entire system clean out which is carried out to remove any bacterial build up.
This is often the reason for a strange or unpleasant smell being emitted from the air conditioning which is why it is important to have this job completed every two years.
The whole process should take around 45 minutes as there are no new parts required for install.
The air conditioning in your car should be noticeably improved after a regas if you haven’t had one for over two years.
If you want to ensure your air conditioning stays in tip top condition, make sure to use it regularly as this the compressor will stay lubricated.Finding a mechanic you can trust to do a good job and charge a fair price, is not always easy, which is why we simplified the process.
