Quick, friendly, cheap and professional
Amazing, worked really quickly and were really friendly and helpful
Very friendly and helpful. The job was done in the same day as it was estimated. I will definitely use this garage again
Friendly, helpful and got the job done. Briiiant service. Will def use again
Very professional and a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend them and I will be using them again.
Very patient and professional. Allowed me to watch the whole process explaining everything on the way. Will use the service again in future
Excellent. Sonny did the work efficiently with the price and time quoted. I will definitely go back when work needs doing on the motor. Thank you Sonny.
I'll be extremely honest. I was not sure about this site or the quality of work done by any of the listed garages. I can honestly say the guys that came out went way beyond what i would expect to see. Changing pads front and rear and I also saw them clean sensors check wires and properly inspect all other components. They also had no idea I was watching. I will 100% be using these guys again. I can recommend them whole heartedly.
Like most of the reviews Sonny was first class. Very humble, polite and courteous guy who did a great job replacing a front track rod and Diesel Fuel Filter on my wifes Hyundai. An excellent price. Would not hesitate recomending Sonny and will definitely use again when needed
£185 This is the best service I have ever had. Needed starter motor replaced and he turned up within the hour with correct part, worked in terrible conditions.did the job quickly to a very high standard. I would recommend this guy to anyone who needs a first class and reliable mechanic .
Great service great job great price
this garage is one of the best ive ever come across, they checked all my discs and pads and found them to be okay, nothing wrong with them ,no charge, and the mechanics were extremely cheerful and helpful
I was very pleased with SB Motors, they got my car in straight away after they contacted me with a great price for the work which was carried out to a good standard. Recommended.
Very quick to respond to messages. Job itself was done quickly and friendly staff. Charged slightly more than quoted but as my air con was completely empty I think it's understandable. Thank you
Friendly staff and excellent service. Highly recommended!
fast and responsive!
Great service speedy & good price no compliants
Gave my car a foc diagnostic check the same day. Told me what was wrong. And they fixed it at my convenience. Friendly staff And so far car running better than it has done for a while
Great professional and great work. Sure will come back
I was quoted a very reasonable price that did not change. Work was completed in the time frame quoted also. Helpful and professional
Very good value, in fact less than half what I was quoted by Kap (Peugeout). Ian recommended a recovery man, who picked up my car within half an hour and the car was fixed on the same day. I was telephoned about of a small extra part that was needed and exactly what it would cost. This garage also offers a courtesy car service if needed. I felt so stuck with a ridiculous quote because my car had been recovered to "Kap" but it was really worth coming on this site to see who could help me out. I saved £400!
Very impressed with the service and MOT at a very reasonable price. Quick and effective, would recommend it.
Brilliant work quick and effiecient and good guy who runs it would reccomend for any welding you might need and he seems to know his stuff on other engine components
Thorough, fast, efficient and affordable service. After I took my car in for repairs to pass the MOT, Paul rang to say the cars coolant system was running dry due to split hoses, he replaced these at a small extra cost and saved me a heap of trouble in the future. I had quotes from other garages £550+ vat and one had said not to bother. Highly recommended.
Everything was as I expected, no issues at all, were very nice, and the regasing was done within the less than an hour.

The majority of modern cars have air conditioning fitted as standard as it is vital for making the ride in a car comfortable for passengers.
An air conditioning system works by using refrigerant gas to push air through several components in the aircon system and then into your car.
Whether its freezing cold or boiling hot, it’s your air conditioning which makes driving in such conditions bearable, so it’s important to look after the system!
Surprisingly, over 10% of air-con gas escapes through the system each year. This means that the power of the system drops significantly over time. However, your air conditioning will not be checked during an MOT or service which is why it’s important that you make an effort to have it checked specifically.
Car manufacturers recommend that cars should have their air con recharged (Regassed) every two years.
Even if your car is new it should be something that you have checked as your cars performance could be significantly affected.
This is because the engine will have to work harder to produce cold air if there is an issue with the air conditioning meaning more fuel will be required to make the system work.
If the system has not been recharged in two years, the drop in engine performance will be noticeable.
As soon as you realise a drop in the power of your air con you should take the vehicle in for repair. If there is an unpleasant smell being emitted, this is another sign that the air con needs looking at.
The job of recharging air conditioning is not complex and will not take long.
The mechanic will carry out a leaks check on the air con system before the repair work, to ensure the job can be carried out without causing damage to the car.
As soon as this is complete, the technician will be able to recharge the system.
The mechanic carrying out the work will first remove old refrigerant from your car as well as the current gas and lubricant.
They will then replace it with new gas and lubricants.
The job will also typically include an entire system clean out which is carried out to remove any bacterial build up.
This is often the reason for a strange or unpleasant smell being emitted from the air conditioning which is why it is important to have this job completed every two years.
The whole process should take around 45 minutes as there are no new parts required for install.
The air conditioning in your car should be noticeably improved after a regas if you haven’t had one for over two years.
If you want to ensure your air conditioning stays in tip top condition, make sure to use it regularly as this the compressor will stay lubricated.Finding a mechanic you can trust to do a good job and charge a fair price, is not always easy, which is why we simplified the process.
