Sonny is an extremely knowledgeable and reliable mechanic. Sorted my front brakes. The lowest quote and the best work done. Would definitely recommend to family, friends and work colleagues. Thanks Sonny.
Brilliant. Job turned out more difficult than anticipated but A Star perservered until it was sorted.
Came to my door to put new discs and pads on my car came hour early as well would recommend
Sonny fitted the new cambelt but it was a little too tight. He asked me to drive it for a few days to see if it would bed in, but when it didn't, he made it a priority to come back before we left for a holiday to adjust the tensioner - talking me through the work and showing me what he had done. No problems at all since then, he also replaced the battery and water pump. His price was very reasonable. He has also been back since when I wanted some suspicious rattling investigated - he came the same day, opened the bonnet and fixed the problem immediately (the filter cover was loose) without charging me, I would definitely use Sonny again.
absolutely excellent, could not do enough for me. Even off his own back went to advise my neighbour who was trying to remove scratches from his car. Will not go anywhere else. 100% feedback please use this service if you are looking for excellent customer service .
Great service lovely people highly recommend
Robin carried out a pre-purchase inspection on my Suzuki Vitara. He responded very quickly and helpfully to my request - the inspection was done the following day. Robin's inspection included the underneath of the vehicle and he also took it for a test drive. He sent me a comprehensive set of photos, and reported his findings by telephone and by email. Although I was not present, I believe he carried out a very thorough inspection. It was a fairly new car and no significant issues were found; this gave me peace of mind in completing the purchase - well worth the fee (as quoted), especially as I had to travel a long way to collect the vehicle. Very good service overall - many thanks Robin.
Robin arrived on time, got to work straight away, he did not try to add any extras, so I paid exactly what he quoted me, he also advised me to get a new tyre, but did not try to badger me with me buying from me. I would recommend Robin to anyone.
Will definitely use Robin again, great service and fantastic price!! I’m Extremely happy with the work he carried out, extremely professional and knows his stuff!!
Well pleased with how quickly and efficiently I was dealt with many thanks and will happily use and recommend
Very impressed with the service and MOT at a very reasonable price. Quick and effective, would recommend it.
Brilliant work quick and effiecient and good guy who runs it would reccomend for any welding you might need and he seems to know his stuff on other engine components
Thorough, fast, efficient and affordable service. After I took my car in for repairs to pass the MOT, Paul rang to say the cars coolant system was running dry due to split hoses, he replaced these at a small extra cost and saved me a heap of trouble in the future. I had quotes from other garages £550+ vat and one had said not to bother. Highly recommended.

this garage is one of the best ive ever come across, they checked all my discs and pads and found them to be okay, nothing wrong with them ,no charge, and the mechanics were extremely cheerful and helpful
I was very pleased with SB Motors, they got my car in straight away after they contacted me with a great price for the work which was carried out to a good standard. Recommended.
Very quick to respond to messages. Job itself was done quickly and friendly staff. Charged slightly more than quoted but as my air con was completely empty I think it's understandable. Thank you
Friendly staff and excellent service. Highly recommended!
Everything was as I expected, no issues at all, were very nice, and the regasing was done within the less than an hour.

The majority of modern cars have air conditioning fitted as standard as it is vital for making the ride in a car comfortable for passengers.
An air conditioning system works by using refrigerant gas to push air through several components in the aircon system and then into your car.
Whether its freezing cold or boiling hot, it’s your air conditioning which makes driving in such conditions bearable, so it’s important to look after the system!
Surprisingly, over 10% of air-con gas escapes through the system each year. This means that the power of the system drops significantly over time. However, your air conditioning will not be checked during an MOT or service which is why it’s important that you make an effort to have it checked specifically.
Car manufacturers recommend that cars should have their air con recharged (Regassed) every two years.
Even if your car is new it should be something that you have checked as your cars performance could be significantly affected.
This is because the engine will have to work harder to produce cold air if there is an issue with the air conditioning meaning more fuel will be required to make the system work.
If the system has not been recharged in two years, the drop in engine performance will be noticeable.
As soon as you realise a drop in the power of your air con you should take the vehicle in for repair. If there is an unpleasant smell being emitted, this is another sign that the air con needs looking at.
The job of recharging air conditioning is not complex and will not take long.
The mechanic will carry out a leaks check on the air con system before the repair work, to ensure the job can be carried out without causing damage to the car.
As soon as this is complete, the technician will be able to recharge the system.
The mechanic carrying out the work will first remove old refrigerant from your car as well as the current gas and lubricant.
They will then replace it with new gas and lubricants.
The job will also typically include an entire system clean out which is carried out to remove any bacterial build up.
This is often the reason for a strange or unpleasant smell being emitted from the air conditioning which is why it is important to have this job completed every two years.
The whole process should take around 45 minutes as there are no new parts required for install.
The air conditioning in your car should be noticeably improved after a regas if you haven’t had one for over two years.
If you want to ensure your air conditioning stays in tip top condition, make sure to use it regularly as this the compressor will stay lubricated.Finding a mechanic you can trust to do a good job and charge a fair price, is not always easy, which is why we simplified the process.
We work with a network of over 10,000 mechanics and garages across the UK so we can find competitive air conditioning regas deals for you.
