Good, did the job quickly
Great service! Will use again
Very professional and great service. They picked-up my car on Friday late afternoon and delivered back at my home address on Saturday at 17pm sharp. Will use them again!
An excellent service and MOT. We will definitely use this garage again.
Very quick turn around. Very helpful :)
Joe was friendly and honest in his approach to our car issue, he was the first to reply to our request and called me first thing the next morning. He came out quickly and fixed the car there and then, he was completely honest that it wasn’t the initial problem and the job came out a lot cheaper! I will be keeping Joes number in my phone and recommending to all my friends. A life saver!
Didn't have a clue where to go to find out what was wrong with my car, found this website and decided to give Delilahs mobile mechanics a try and Joe was quick to reply and was at my home within quick time. Not only did he diagnose the problem quickly but he actually fixed the car right there i didn't even have to take it to a garage. Am really satisfied with the customer service he provided and his professionalism. I would recommend Joe from Delilahs to anyone, 5 stars.
CMS did the work I asked and charged their quotation price. The work did not fix the problem I had, and still have, but that is not their fault.
Great service and friendly team. More expensive than I was expecting, initial quote for £75 only covered the diagnostics. Ended up replacing a number of parts in the gear box, and a new clutch plate - which was optional but was relatively cost effective as half the car was already disassembled. from accepting the quote to completion took approx 1.5 weeks and I borrowed their courtesy car for the last few days which was helpful. Friendly team with good communication on issues and costs etc. Mechanic also very helpful and showed me how much of the car had to be taken apart to access the gear box hence the high labour cost vs parts. Would use again.
Brilliant, can't fault them, give me a lift as well
Excellent service. Honest in pricing and great job done
great thanks for all your help New EGR Valve fitted was going to cost me £800 Now blanked off, and the car was remapped - so much better to drive now thankyou
Clutch replacement. Really fast, picked my car up that day and dropped it off the next, car was fixed perfect. Cheapest in the area but also an awesome job and made life so much easier.
Brilliant service from this garage, collected my car in the evening and had it all fixed and back the next day, would definitely recommend this garage
Excellent service, friendly staff, good prices
Supper fast service. Very helpful boys. Recommend! A+++++
All fine, did what was asked
Really good garage. I would recommend for everyone to use this garage the service was brilliant.
Excellent service, Brakes are working fine. Only problem was the waiting room was a bit chilly but couldn't fault their work. Would highly recommend
They also gave the van a full check over and inspection which I was very pleased with pointing out all issues which I need to get deal with.
Very professional set-up and very informed staff. Recommended.
First class service. Full health check done even though it was only rear brake pads replacement. Arranged appointment and all done on time. Thanks
Great, speedy service and good price. Would definitely recommend.
This garage not only fixed the stated problem as requested but also did a very thorough health check (as requested). We are now confident that this car is safe to drive. Their customer service is excellent and you always get an answer even on bank holidays!
First time with Bernard & co, the place looked as all garages should (clean, tidy and neat), and the guys knew what they were doing. I'm really glad I found Sonning Hill Motors and, as of now, it's going to be my garage of choice. Many thanks guys, see you on Saturday!
Fantastic service, and fast. Will most definitely use them again
Appointment agreed quickly and with No Fuss. On arrival got straight onto the job in hand (re-charge aircon) and was finished/tested in 30 minutes start to finish. My local Halfords wanted £50, a week's notice and told me the process takes "at least 90 minutes". Will use these guys again and recommend to friends/rellies.
Excellent service. Very professional. would definitely use again.

The majority of modern cars have air conditioning fitted as standard as it is vital for making the ride in a car comfortable for passengers.
An air conditioning system works by using refrigerant gas to push air through several components in the aircon system and then into your car.
Whether its freezing cold or boiling hot, it’s your air conditioning which makes driving in such conditions bearable, so it’s important to look after the system!
Surprisingly, over 10% of air-con gas escapes through the system each year. This means that the power of the system drops significantly over time. However, your air conditioning will not be checked during an MOT or service which is why it’s important that you make an effort to have it checked specifically.
Car manufacturers recommend that cars should have their air con recharged (Regassed) every two years.
Even if your car is new it should be something that you have checked as your cars performance could be significantly affected.
This is because the engine will have to work harder to produce cold air if there is an issue with the air conditioning meaning more fuel will be required to make the system work.
If the system has not been recharged in two years, the drop in engine performance will be noticeable.
As soon as you realise a drop in the power of your air con you should take the vehicle in for repair. If there is an unpleasant smell being emitted, this is another sign that the air con needs looking at.
The job of recharging air conditioning is not complex and will not take long.
The mechanic will carry out a leaks check on the air con system before the repair work, to ensure the job can be carried out without causing damage to the car.
As soon as this is complete, the technician will be able to recharge the system.
The mechanic carrying out the work will first remove old refrigerant from your car as well as the current gas and lubricant.
They will then replace it with new gas and lubricants.
The job will also typically include an entire system clean out which is carried out to remove any bacterial build up.
This is often the reason for a strange or unpleasant smell being emitted from the air conditioning which is why it is important to have this job completed every two years.
The whole process should take around 45 minutes as there are no new parts required for install.
The air conditioning in your car should be noticeably improved after a regas if you haven’t had one for over two years.
If you want to ensure your air conditioning stays in tip top condition, make sure to use it regularly as this the compressor will stay lubricated.Finding a mechanic you can trust to do a good job and charge a fair price, is not always easy, which is why we simplified the process.
