Great garage, picked up and dropped car off which was perfect as have 3 under 5. Work needed was spot on and they did it quickly and kept me informed. Will be using again.
Quick and efficient service. Free coffee etc while you wait and Gregg (I'm sure that was his name but I have baby brain lol) was very lovely, chatty and welcoming. Will definitely be returning and making this my new regular garage. Close to home too. Bonus!
Everything was perfect!
Great job! Would recommend!

Friendly efficient service
Very happy with the service we had a call to say the auxiliary belts needed changing and we only paid for the parts they didn’t charge any extra labour. Will definitely use again
Great service and a good job.
Brilliant service. Very quick on replying, booked me in the next day. Went through the problem with my clutch and fitted and returned same day. Really helpful, i will stick with this garage for further work my car may need in the future.
Asked for genuine parts so slightly more expensive vs. initial quote - but was happy to pay for the OEM parts. Service itself was excellent. My girlfriend left feeling very happy with both the service she recieved and the warm and welcoming people working at Small Car Services. The guys seems knowledgeable over the phone to talk to and the price was competitive. We will definitely be coming back if the car needs more work in the future.
Staff very friendly, service and mot managed efficiently.
Nice that they picked up my car and dropped it back and everyone I dealt with from the company was extremely nice and friendly. They performed a full service and MOT, no hassle.
Really happy with the service provided (MOT and Full Service), and to my surprise they valeted my car as a bonus. What's not to like about this? :)
Absolutely happy with the service
Sometimes you wonder if the low price means lower levels of service but not here. Appearances are definitely deceptive so don't be worried or fooled by the outward appearance of the business. I turned up earlier than expected and they jumped straight on the job. Checked the system, warned me that there was some potential leakage and that the regas might not work however it all worked as intended and the job was done. Great price, great service and I'd have no qualms going back.
A good job, no fuss and completed in the time they stated. Will certainly use again.
Service was quick and excellent. Aircon is now very cold. No complaints whatsoever.
arranged an appointment within a couple of days - and the work was done within a couple of hours - Recent temperatures in the 30’s Centigrade and a nice cool car proves the re-gas of my zircon was 100% successful

The majority of modern cars have air conditioning fitted as standard as it is vital for making the ride in a car comfortable for passengers.
An air conditioning system works by using refrigerant gas to push air through several components in the aircon system and then into your car.
Whether its freezing cold or boiling hot, it’s your air conditioning which makes driving in such conditions bearable, so it’s important to look after the system!
Surprisingly, over 10% of air-con gas escapes through the system each year. This means that the power of the system drops significantly over time. However, your air conditioning will not be checked during an MOT or service which is why it’s important that you make an effort to have it checked specifically.
Car manufacturers recommend that cars should have their air con recharged (Regassed) every two years.
Even if your car is new it should be something that you have checked as your cars performance could be significantly affected.
This is because the engine will have to work harder to produce cold air if there is an issue with the air conditioning meaning more fuel will be required to make the system work.
If the system has not been recharged in two years, the drop in engine performance will be noticeable.
As soon as you realise a drop in the power of your air con you should take the vehicle in for repair. If there is an unpleasant smell being emitted, this is another sign that the air con needs looking at.
The job of recharging air conditioning is not complex and will not take long.
The mechanic will carry out a leaks check on the air con system before the repair work, to ensure the job can be carried out without causing damage to the car.
As soon as this is complete, the technician will be able to recharge the system.
The mechanic carrying out the work will first remove old refrigerant from your car as well as the current gas and lubricant.
They will then replace it with new gas and lubricants.
The job will also typically include an entire system clean out which is carried out to remove any bacterial build up.
This is often the reason for a strange or unpleasant smell being emitted from the air conditioning which is why it is important to have this job completed every two years.
The whole process should take around 45 minutes as there are no new parts required for install.
The air conditioning in your car should be noticeably improved after a regas if you haven’t had one for over two years.
If you want to ensure your air conditioning stays in tip top condition, make sure to use it regularly as this the compressor will stay lubricated.Finding a mechanic you can trust to do a good job and charge a fair price, is not always easy, which is why we simplified the process.
