Fantastic service great price for repairing my debt and scratch on my rear whee arch. Collected and dropped off the car highly recommended.
Awesome, my car came back today with the bodywork like new, I don't know how it was done for the price, can't recommend JJLUX enough, absolutely outstanding and I think Janis is a modern day new MAGICIAN.
Excellent service, ready exactly when Janis said it would be and great value for money. Haven't seen in full daylight yet but even with the shadows of floodlights looked a good job.
Amazing job so made up, my car is brand new.
Highly recommend this body repair shop. Work was completed to a very high standard and the car looks just like new. Will recommend to anyone, and will use again in the future if i ever need to. Great prices too.
Excellent service, my car is much better now! Thank you
Great and very helpful
Excellent service. Thank you, John.
Was good friendly person
top garage would use the garage again with no problem
Excellent service no hidden extras very competitive in price . Professional & friendly service would recommend this garage .
Used John Atherton Autos twice now and don't think I would go a anywhere else in the future. They fixed my car up after it failed MOT and the end price was far cheaper than what I had actually been quoted so obviously trustworthy and good at what they do.
Great no hassle service, the car was even ready before the suggested time and I was given use of the courtesy car so wasn't without at all. Great stuff will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you.
Everything went fine would recommend this garage.
The garage did a great job and will definitely be using again!
They were brilliant, really helpful, would use again.
Noooo, Do not even think about Stoneacre garages. No punctuality, Bad service, Poor customer care, Not genuine and the highest price I made the wrong choice and I was like total loser. I do not wish any newbie to feel the same pain I had. I have asked for Cambelt Relacement, Full service and MOT and they (Claire) did a price match for the same offer I received from a local garage. I trusted and wished to get it done from a Peugeot Dealer and agreed the price match. I booked the appointment on a Tuesday and they promised to finish it on the same day. They didn't do anything on Tuesday and when I called them inquire about the delivery, then started their standard service (only changing the oil and filters), made me to wait on the road for 30 mins and took my vehicle on the second day morning to waste my 2nd day. I asked for a cambelt replacement, full service and then the MOT. When they do the full service they can inspect most of the issues involved with the MOT and let me know any required repairs first then I can decide on repair costs before the MOT test. But they did the MOT first to make me rely on their garage for repairs at very high price. They quoted me £722 for rectification repair only, plus the previous quote of £380. And they made me to lose the last 24 days of my previous MOT which would have given me enough time to decide on repair cost. I denied for the rectification works and they asked me to pay the quoted amount (£380) before they deliver the vehicle which is failed on MOT. Still, they didn't do the full service as they mentioned in the quote. Claire (Marketing assistant who quoted me) agreed to me that they should have picked up all these faults by visual inspection if they do the full service first. In the next couple hours she talked everything favor to garage and her tongue were upside down within two hours. If they find out these faults on full service, the usual procedure is to let me know first about the repair before they test for the MOT. Another funny thing is they did cambelt replacement after the MOT failure. On the next day, I booked the appointment in the local garage for the MOT to confirm these faults. It passed the MOT with out any problem. However, for my safety I asked the mechanic to repair those faults and paid £140 including the MOT charge. 1.They didn't do it on time as they promised and wasted my two days in frustration. 2.They didn't do full service as I asked them to do. However, they charged me for the half service. 3.Not a good customer service, until I call them inquire about the delivery time they didn't start the job. 4. The highest in pricing and very smart in putting you in problems and make you to pay more Thanks for reading. Raj
Not very happy with the service received. The car came back and there were lights coming on on the dashboard and the car was totally underpowered and making a hissing sound. We ended up taking it back to the garage and they said it was a loose pipe. Also the service counter was not reset and I was told that they did not have enough time to do it on the day I brought the car back in and that the car would have to make a 3rd visit to the garage to have it reset. I ended up paying another garage £15 to have it done.

The majority of modern cars have air conditioning fitted as standard as it is vital for making the ride in a car comfortable for passengers.
An air conditioning system works by using refrigerant gas to push air through several components in the aircon system and then into your car.
Whether its freezing cold or boiling hot, it’s your air conditioning which makes driving in such conditions bearable, so it’s important to look after the system!
Surprisingly, over 10% of air-con gas escapes through the system each year. This means that the power of the system drops significantly over time. However, your air conditioning will not be checked during an MOT or service which is why it’s important that you make an effort to have it checked specifically.
Car manufacturers recommend that cars should have their air con recharged (Regassed) every two years.
Even if your car is new it should be something that you have checked as your cars performance could be significantly affected.
This is because the engine will have to work harder to produce cold air if there is an issue with the air conditioning meaning more fuel will be required to make the system work.
If the system has not been recharged in two years, the drop in engine performance will be noticeable.
As soon as you realise a drop in the power of your air con you should take the vehicle in for repair. If there is an unpleasant smell being emitted, this is another sign that the air con needs looking at.
The job of recharging air conditioning is not complex and will not take long.
The mechanic will carry out a leaks check on the air con system before the repair work, to ensure the job can be carried out without causing damage to the car.
As soon as this is complete, the technician will be able to recharge the system.
The mechanic carrying out the work will first remove old refrigerant from your car as well as the current gas and lubricant.
They will then replace it with new gas and lubricants.
The job will also typically include an entire system clean out which is carried out to remove any bacterial build up.
This is often the reason for a strange or unpleasant smell being emitted from the air conditioning which is why it is important to have this job completed every two years.
The whole process should take around 45 minutes as there are no new parts required for install.
The air conditioning in your car should be noticeably improved after a regas if you haven’t had one for over two years.
If you want to ensure your air conditioning stays in tip top condition, make sure to use it regularly as this the compressor will stay lubricated.Finding a mechanic you can trust to do a good job and charge a fair price, is not always easy, which is why we simplified the process.
