garage staff helpful in every way
Overall very good. I decided to pay for an extra oil and filter change as well as it was recommended by the garage. That added to the cost but the car is running great since the work. Friendly staff and a quick turnaround.
From booking through David, to Jamie’s excellent customer service, also William who carried out the work on my car keeping me updated as he went along. Can’t recommend this Garage highly enough, I’ll certainly use again.
I would recommend this garage. The staff were friendly and happy to help. The work was completed quickly and they kept me updated via my phone.
Was very happy with the service I received and would use them again
Excellent, friendly service
Thanks Drew & the guys , using this garage for a while now car mot & full serviced no problem thanks again
Yes. They did more work than original estimate and appeared to have done a good job and good value . Very helpful.
Cracking service from these guys, picked my car up and had phoned with a price within 2 hours. Work was done that day, car feels much better and advised of a couple of things still needing done. Car was dropped back off also at no extra cost.
Quick. Easy and hassle free repair. Highly recommended
finished on time and price as quoted
Excellent service and a job well done. Despite Euro Car Parts sending me the wrong parts, Swanmore lent me a car to go to get the right ones and solved my problem. Well Recommended. Thanks
Paid exactly what was quoted. Car collected, returned and repaired with no issues.
Service was quick and excellent. Aircon is now very cold. No complaints whatsoever.
They have been excellent, or service, expertise and price. After being ripped off by two garages they have restored my faith in independent Garages. I would recommend to anyone around the Gatwick area for brakes, MOT and diagnostic testing.
Great customer service and I was kept informed throughout the process. I would certainly recommend
Excellent just needed an oil change and even advised about my wearing out front brakes. Offered me a good price for brakes fitted next week.
Very impressed with Goodfellas autoz, honest up front and thorough with diagnostics. Couldn't find a fault so offered to get it looked at with another garage (that they know well) for free
Great garage, they really know their stuff! Patrick and his team really do go more then an extra mile to meet customer needs, they are very honest and do everything properly. They managed to fix my gearbox and clutch along with dual mass flywheel very quickly and they have done truly amazing job! They've found couple of other problems, they contacted me straight away and managed to get me back in the road even it was my timing chain. Unlike garage I used for couple of years they done everything they said they will do. Exelent customer service. Can't recommend them enough! They are based just over an hour away from me I'll be using them with any vehicle issues as is really hard to find a mechanic you can trust nowadays but they've earned my trust and loyalty. I really can't thank them enough!
Patrick was very polite and quick with his service. Great price. His colleagues are also pleasant. Will surely use his garage agin
As always a really professional service which gets the job done right.
Very honest and friendly garage. Cannot recommend more highly.
Good, straight talking and reliable time keeping. Job completed succesfully - however, ended up paying more than I had hoped but given clear reasons why (whole electric window motor had to be replaced as an integrated unit even though only part of it was broken/malfunctioning)
670 due to needing new fly wheel. Very good service, picked my car up and dropped off same day .
Payed £35 for diagnostics, said 100% it was the throttle pedal, ordered one in had it fitted for a further £90 including parts and labour car drives perfectly. Very friendly and knowledgeable will definitely be my local garage of choice from now on.
VERY quick response, could do exactly what I wanted
Car collected and delivered on time. Overall bill was lower than quoted. Hard to find such reliable and honest professionals in this age and date. The owner left the car even when the bill could not be settled; this demonstrates that they are in this business for service and satisfaction and not just money.
Excellent and prompt service and very knowledgeable and friendly mechanics and a very good price!
very nice and friendly people, very happy with my car service. would recommend
Staff really helpful and very accomdating. We had both our cars serviced and we are happy with the work as well as the convenience of collecting and returning. Minors extras were required on one car and were sorted at no extra charge.
Thank you for fast service.would come definetly to this garage...

Hopefully our FAQ section has answered some of the questions you may have about changing the oil in your car. However, if you would like more information, we have the produced the following guide and video to help you understand the subject in greater detail.
Changing the oil in a car is an essential part of keeping a vehicle healthy and safe. Engine oil is the lubricant that keeps the numerous moving parts moving without friction.
You will know when you need to change the oil in your car as soon as the yellow light on your dashboard comes on. As soon as this happens you should take your car to a garage to have the oil.
Changing oil is recommended every 3000-5000km, however if you have a special synthetic oil, you may be able to go 10,000 miles before changing.
However, if you drive your car fast, live in a hot, cold or dusty environment, you may need to change the oil in your car more often. If you have an older car you may need to have the oil changed more frequently too.
Having the oil changed on your car is not a complicated job however it can be a very messy as it involves draining old oil from underneath the car a new batch being poured in.
It is essential that your filter is also changed as your engines performance depends greatly on the distribution of oil throughout the system.
The filter allows dirt and debris to be carried out of the car engine which is vital to keep it running, however, much like a hoover, the filter can become clogged up and the performance of the whole system is effected as a result.
The mechanic who is changing your oil will also clean the filter as this is part of having your oil changed.
If you want to learn how to change the oil in your car and do the job yourself, you can, however you will need specialist tools and supplies to replace oil yourself.
There are also several types of oil and oil filter which are manufactured to work in certian engines. Find out from the car owner’s manual which oil and filter is correct for your car, the main types are;
This is the highest grade of oil as it is created by oil engineers, scientists and chemists who control the ingredients in a highly measured and calculated way. This oil will have the highest levels of lubrication and engine protection which will keep your engine running smoothly and guard against heat build-up.
This type of oil is a mixture between conventional oils and the synthetic type described above. This type of oil is recommended for cars, vans, lorries and heavy loaded vehicles as is contains excellent low-temperature properties.
If you have an older car this is the oil for you. Some high mileage, high performance cars are better served by synthetic oil. However, this blend of oil has a unique mixture of additives and viscosity, this oil will have reduced burn off, will help seal oil leaks and will also help improve the combustion chamber sealing which in turn improves engine compression.
Conventional oil comes in many grades, based on viscosity (thickness and fluidity), with each grade being blended to suit a particular car, environment and driving style.
Make sure you use the right oil if you are replacing it yourself or if you’re getting it completed by a garage.
You should be able to find what oil you need by looking in your car owner’s manual, this is important because if you put the wrong oil in your car you could face trouble!
