Very good and please with it
Price on this website was wrong. I was informed of this on arrival, cannot fault the service. Staff friendly and helpful.
Got the car fixed at short notice. I was worried as the car was not picked up for repair until late in the day but JC made sure that car got fixed on the same day as promised. He worked extra hours to make sure the car is ready as promised.
Couldn't be easier -- wonderful, friendly and flexible service at a very reasonable price. Will definitely use again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
I found TBD very helpful and clear on the prices quoted was the price I paid, i would recommend this garage again.
Excellent service - fast, efficient and friendly!
After reading a lot of reviews on Google (all 5*) I thought it best to give JC a try and I was not disappointed. After initially texting to get a price and then calling to confirm a booking date JC was polite and professional, when he collected my vehicle from my home address JC left me with a vehicle so as to be able to get to work and still potter about. Then when collecting my vehicle from his garage JC took me through what exactly went wrong with the damaged parts, showing me them and explaining simply and honestly. JC gave me a years warranty on his work and the parts should anything happen but I'm confident and trusting in his work that I'm sure I won't need to see him again unless it's for something else.
The manager was very helpful and he helped diagnosticate some other problems on my car as well. I would use their services again.
Great service plus free tyre check can't be bad
Good service, friendly staff. Will use again
I booked my car in and received a booking number via email, pretty straightforward! However when I arrived the chap who came to the desk said he didn't know anything about the booking and that they were extremely busy (this was 8:45 am), I actually came away in a bad mood as I was made to feel like that was my fault, I had already made the decision to go there again. I returned at 5pm and had to wait for another 45 minutes, the only saving grace was the lovely chap who was then only the desk, he was very pleasant and chatty and he made up for the rude man who had dealt with me earlier. So thank you to that man, I wish I'd got his name. One star knocked off for putting me in a grump all day!
Craig was really helpful and went far and beyond the call of duty. The clutch went on mi 2006 mini on the Thursday night and he had quoted on Thursday night and collected the car on Friday morning and returned by Saturday Morning. Really impressed with the service and speed of the work. Price was £200 cheaper than my usual garage!
Excellent service. Price quoted was the price I paid. No hidden extras once the car was finished. I would recommend this garage.
Thus price was for mot aircon regas and service a tyre front bearings and bulbs and wiper blades I got a fast and spwwst service kept me up to date with calling me will definitely use this company in the future all staff I spoke to were polite
Very good service provided, more expensive due to brake pads, brake rotors and a rear exhaust box that had to be replaced, all of which I was aware would need replacing during the service.
24/7 Auto Repairs were the quickest to quote the job and the cheapest. To my surprise, they were able to book my daughter's car in for a clutch replacement early the next week and told me it would be ready the same day. I delivered the car to them the previous day so they had the car ready for the morning. By lunchtime on the booked day they had rang me to tell me all was done and the car was ready for collection. When I arrived to pick the car up, I was presented with the bill, exactly the price stated, no extras. Very pleased, great work, fast service, great value. I would defintely recommend them.
Very happy with the price and serves and speed it took highly recomend, THANKYOU.
Yes, Clear and concise. Car vacuumed and washed, smelly provided. + If needed video sent to show any repairs. Very good!
They were really good, came and picked up the car, great service.
The job was done successfully, they explained why it needed dolng, they fitted me in quicker than other garages and £250 cheaper than other quotes I had received.
The price was the same as quoted, and the car was brought in and fixed all on the same day. Now it works really well again!
Really good service, reliable and honest. 5 stars
Great communication from start to finish. Clutch replaced and works great. Would use them again.
Lovely staff. Very helpful and quick whilst I waited. Fantastic service.
very good service and didn't try to do more than was necessary.
Great garage, asked them to have a look at a few other things which they gave great advice about
Professional and very honest local garage. After inspecting the car they realized I doesn't need to change the brake hoses and they saved me 90 pounds. I will recommend them with no doubt.
A brake, or brake pad is a system that safely enables a car to stop. Brakes get rid of the kinetic energy that helps the car move, which is done by using force of friction to convert this motion of energy into heat. Your car's braking system is made up of the following components: Brake discs, which spin with your car's wheels, Brake Pads, which push on the discs to slow the car, Brake Calipers which hold, and push, the pads, Brake Lines (or 'Hoses') which carry Brake Fluid, and your Brake Master Cylinder and Servo, which work to amplify the effort you use when pushing the brake pedal. Wear or failure of any one of these components will cause braking problems, requiring repair.
Modern cars have brakes on all four wheels which are operated by a hydraulic system and are made up of several components all of which are subject to stress which could result in breakage.
The front brakes in a car are typically the ones which play the greater part in bringing a car to stop as the weight of the car is thrown forward every time the vehicle comes to a stop.
There are different systems used for braking from one car to the next which suits the needs of the vehicle size and function.
The common hydraulic system uses fluid to apply pressure to pistons in the car close to its wheels to bring the car to a halt.
Some cars also have power brake assistance which helps to reduce the amount of effort required to apply stopping power.
If you need to have your brakes repaired there are several issues that could have caused the problem and several things that could be affected.
If you suspect you need your brakes repaired but your car is still drivable, there are some symptoms which could give you clues as to what the problem is.
The brakes are often the noisiest part of a car if there is an issue which means you should be able to hear a problem which cannot be said of many other broken car parts. Therefore, noticing the need for a car brake repair should be obvious. But you can check faulty brake symptoms here.
Brake pads are a critical component of a car and a vehicle cannot come to a halt without them functioning properly. Brake pads are fitted to the brake calipers which push the pads into the brake discs which are fitted to a car wheel. When a car is moving, the pads grip the discs to slow down the wheel and thus slow the car down.
A high amount of heat energy is created from the resulting friction as explained above and over time, this will wear brake pads down.
Brake pad replacement is a common job, the work to remove a worn-down-set is not complex so if you require a brake pad replacement, the repair will not be a lengthy one.
If you would like to understand how to tell when your brakes need servicing read our dedicated guide.
Brake discs are fitted to the car wheel itself and they are gripped by the brake pads.
Brake discs replacement is more expensive; the parts are more expensive than pads. Often pads are placed at the same time the discs are replaced.
If a mechanic advises you to replace your brake discs, they will likely suggest replacing the pads at the same time due to a the low cost of the part and the little extra labour time needed.
The cost of brake pad replacement may vary depending on the car make and model. This is because there are different sizes of brake pads and the cost increases as they get bigger. For example, a Land Rover will require a bigger set of brake pads as opposed to a Fiat Punto.

If you specifically require brake disc replacement, the work will take a similar amount of time to a brake pad replacement.
However, as highlighted above, the cost will be more expensive that pads due to the parts pricing.
Brake pads are changed by removing the wheel and unscrewing the bolts which hold the part in place. The part is then simply taken off the brake caliper and a new brake pad is fitted. The same process will be applied for each of the pads that need to be replaced.
There are many other common issues which can arise with the braking system which are not connected to brake pads and discs issues. The brake lines are susceptible to leakage as brake fluid can leak from the system if rust is untreated. The master cylinder is also a part of the braking system which can become faulty.
