Rob was professional and took me through to the whole process of DPF.
Not so good at calling back. But did the job as promised
The whole roof and the top of the car has been repaired and repainted. Very quick turnaround and really good quality job.
The location is a bit difficult to find and next to very narrow road The workers look busy, so I needed to wait a bit The repair work itself is no problem and the price is cheaper than the other garages
Fantastic work done once again. Completed bodywork to a fantastic standard within 3 days. Extra spray job done for free aswell. Best in north west London
Amazing work and very quick! definitely recommend it
My experience at Alperton Car Clinic was great! The communication was amazing from the start - from booking an appointment very quickly to getting sent information about how to access the garage. Also, I was given an update through the day so that I could review what the best options were and what I decided to go for. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional. The price was also very competitive and the service impeccable. Overall, I cannot recommend enough Alperton Car Clinic and the great people working there.
This service is out of this world, I could recommend it to everyone.
extremely helpful and knowledgeable. really happy with it that I might switch them with my usual garage.
very friendly staff and clear explanation on what is going on
I supplied my own parts and did exactly what I wanted the mechanic to do. He even gave me feedback on what i should do to maintain my car.
Very friendly, very happy with the customer service and the service itself. very explanatory about other issues. Will use again if needed. Thanks a lot!
Excellent garage. Requested a time I needed my car done and they were more than happy to help me. Price was as quoted online. Definitely will be returning for future jobs.
I found the garage in this website which I had never used before. I booked a MOT and service with them based purely on the reviews other custohad left and I was not disappointed. The price was reasonable and the service was professional. I found them to be honest and open and I would definitely use them again.
Honest and reliable mechanic. Would highly recommend. Excellent value for money. I will be using this garage again.
I didn't use a garage on here as they me know straight away that from where I live I wasn't in the catchment area for the garage to be able to pick my car up.
Price for Mot and Servicing was very reasonable. Opted for the optional/recommended brake fluid change, otherwise would have been 145. Quite happy.
Everything went as it should have, car pick up was prompt and drop off as Communication was great after hours as well! Will recommend!
Polite and thorough and even offered me a cup of tea while I waited. When I asked how to proceed they called me up and arranged for the repairs to be done the same day. I didn't get a proper receipt detailing the repair for my records but other than that I have no reservations to go back again for other repairs.
Good service. Knew what they were doing. Picked up and dropped off car from my home, which was helpful.
Very satisfied with their work. My left passenger door and left rear door + bumper was damaged on roadside leaving a huge dent and full of scratches. They did a really nice job and the car looks brand new again. I do recommend it to others.
Great service. Good communication and friendly service throughout. No hard sell. All work done as agreed.
Very quick and helpful.
Perfect repair, on time and on estimate. Good communication. Great customer service! Have already recommended C and R! Thanks guys!
Amazing experience from start to finish. The family run business were polite and always curtious. My car was finished prestigiously.
This garage was brilliant. They saw me the next day as I was in a rush and had the work completed within an hour. They have competitive prices and are thoroughly professional. I'd highly recommend this garage.
Very happy with the job. I will definitely go back if i need to.
The service at this garage was top class, I was very impressed with the work they did on my 4 series BMW. I needed brake discs and pads fitted. The guys working on my car we very good communicators from the moment I was quoted. This garage is very welcoming and the guys there are very knowledgeable about their craft and also very professional. I was always updated about every step being taken and given honest advice about any future work required on the car. The prices are very fair and competitive. I stayed for a little while after the car was done to just share our car interests as they were very friendly. Thank you again M and T for your amazing service.
This garage was able to do the work straightaway, at a reasonable price, and to a high standard. Thank you.

A brake, or brake pad is a system that safely enables a car to stop. Brakes get rid of the kinetic energy that helps the car move, which is done by using force of friction to convert this motion of energy into heat. Your car's braking system is made up of the following components: Brake discs, which spin with your car's wheels, Brake Pads, which push on the discs to slow the car, Brake Calipers which hold, and push, the pads, Brake Lines (or 'Hoses') which carry Brake Fluid, and your Brake Master Cylinder and Servo, which work to amplify the effort you use when pushing the brake pedal. Wear or failure of any one of these components will cause braking problems, requiring repair.
Modern cars have brakes on all four wheels which are operated by a hydraulic system and are made up of several components all of which are subject to stress which could result in breakage.
The front brakes in a car are typically the ones which play the greater part in bringing a car to stop as the weight of the car is thrown forward every time the vehicle comes to a stop.
There are different systems used for braking from one car to the next which suits the needs of the vehicle size and function.
The common hydraulic system uses fluid to apply pressure to pistons in the car close to its wheels to bring the car to a halt.
Some cars also have power brake assistance which helps to reduce the amount of effort required to apply stopping power.
If you need to have your brakes repaired there are several issues that could have caused the problem and several things that could be affected.
If you suspect you need your brakes repaired but your car is still drivable, there are some symptoms which could give you clues as to what the problem is.
The brakes are often the noisiest part of a car if there is an issue which means you should be able to hear a problem which cannot be said of many other broken car parts. Therefore, noticing the need for a car brake repair should be obvious. But you can check faulty brake symptoms here.
Brake pads are a critical component of a car and a vehicle cannot come to a halt without them functioning properly. Brake pads are fitted to the brake calipers which push the pads into the brake discs which are fitted to a car wheel. When a car is moving, the pads grip the discs to slow down the wheel and thus slow the car down.
A high amount of heat energy is created from the resulting friction as explained above and over time, this will wear brake pads down.
Brake pad replacement is a common job, the work to remove a worn-down-set is not complex so if you require a brake pad replacement, the repair will not be a lengthy one.
If you would like to understand how to tell when your brakes need servicing read our dedicated guide.
Brake discs are fitted to the car wheel itself and they are gripped by the brake pads.
Brake discs replacement is more expensive; the parts are more expensive than pads. Often pads are placed at the same time the discs are replaced.
If a mechanic advises you to replace your brake discs, they will likely suggest replacing the pads at the same time due to a the low cost of the part and the little extra labour time needed.
The cost of brake pad replacement may vary depending on the car make and model. This is because there are different sizes of brake pads and the cost increases as they get bigger. For example, a Land Rover will require a bigger set of brake pads as opposed to a Fiat Punto.

If you specifically require brake disc replacement, the work will take a similar amount of time to a brake pad replacement.
However, as highlighted above, the cost will be more expensive that pads due to the parts pricing.
Brake pads are changed by removing the wheel and unscrewing the bolts which hold the part in place. The part is then simply taken off the brake caliper and a new brake pad is fitted. The same process will be applied for each of the pads that need to be replaced.
There are many other common issues which can arise with the braking system which are not connected to brake pads and discs issues. The brake lines are susceptible to leakage as brake fluid can leak from the system if rust is untreated. The master cylinder is also a part of the braking system which can become faulty.
