Everything was excellent!
Very good, excellent service
Superb service all round - highly recommend.
Patrick couldn't of been more obliging. I was quoted £433 from a local garage then £335 from another local garage I know but had to wait a week. My dad said it was still too pricey and to have a look around, I used this WCFMC.com and found Patrick's garage, he came the next day to meet me and collect the key, and collected and returned the car within a few hours on Wednesday. Everything was easy from beginning to end. The car is running much quieter (new exhaust) and I look forward to using his services again. Thank you.
Highly recommend this garage and Patrick. Patrick went out of his way to accommodate me, from me having to change the date a couple of times, to coming the evening before and fetching my car and dropping back to me the following evening. I had a flat tyre, and Patrick was able to repair it which I was grateful for as they were bought new a couple of months back. All in all Patrick is reliable and offers a great service of fetching and dropping off the car, which is totally hassle free and easy for me. I believe he is honest and does what he says which is great in an industry where there can be a lot of uncertainty. I had an MOT, full service and paid a bit extra for the tyre repair, hence why the price was slightly higher than the original quote.
Very nice guys.! Quick clean job. Highly recommend.
The service was fantastic and very friendly and helpful staff. They picked up my car and dropped as agreed.
Very competitive quote. Work done to good standard. Excellent communication throughout. Free pick up and drop of service from my home.
Car working properly
Great service and friendly, helpful staff.
Lee was great. Really professional carried the job out quickly. Confirmed all the work before carrying out the job ! Would definitely recommend using Auto Assist!
I contacted Lee from Assist Autos to carry out a diagnostic as a 2nd opinion after my car was loosing coolant and the company I purchased the car from were claiming the car was not faulty. Lee was able to find the cause of the leak and also sent a full report with photos. He also gave me advice with regards to repair over the phone and was always available when I had a question. Excellent customer service, a genuine trust worthy mechanic who know's his stuff, highly recommended!
Lee's communication is excellent. He texted me with his ETA, and was prompt, polite and efficient. The job was carried out professionally. Would definitely use again, and highly recommend.
Lee and his team did an amazing job on my car. What originally looked like a serious problem with the car was quickly and professionally handled. Great friendly team and won’t hesitate to use again if needed!
Lee is the best mobile mechanic I have ever found. His work is top notch and is very reasonably priced. The final payment was more than anticipated because he was successful in isolating and correcting various faults that were not immediately apparent. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who falls within his service range. One of his best qualities is that he always answers his mobile phone when called, unlike many other places who give a mobile phone number and never answer their phones and never return calls when messages are left. Will definitely be using him again in the future for both our cars. Excellent service - definitely an A*** from us! Well done!
Turned out to be a starter motor issue, instead of alternator., Hence the price difference. (Mrs Car) Top mechanic, fast, efficient and very easy to get on with. Would recommend to anyone. Will be booking in my car to have clutch done with them next week :)
Great garage, excellent and fast work :)
Very speedy professional cambelt and anti roll bar repair and fit , left my car at4'30 and picked it up next day ,about 11
Very efficient and frI endless will use again
Great service (major service with cambelt change) with excellent communication. The paperwork received is also top notch, I am about to take a long journey and have full confidence in the car following the service by Anees. Will definitely use again.
I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Fast, friendly service. Top quality workmanship, great communications. The team at Eagle Autos are the simply the best. I will never go anywhere else.
Really helpful and friendly. Explained the issues to me clearly. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent service. Great price, very quick turnaround, would highly recommend. Many thanks.
They are great!
Top service from a top, award-winning garage! Easy to see why these guys have built such a great business.
Excellent service. Was prompt at collecting the car when they said they would. Also called me to inform me of advisories. Was also able to pay by card using the portable card reader. Very polite and good mannered
Good service, quick turnaround
2nd time I've used All 4 Wheels as I was so impressed from the first time. Very patient with me in arranging collection of vehicle as I am not home often. Work was done to standard expected. More work was required then initially thought but they were upfront about it and new price agreed no problem.
Cannot recommend enough. AMAZING service. Always kept in the loop about what's going on. Really reliable, lovely people not just wanting to take your money and run. Will always return here for car issues. THANK YOU. Most reasonable pricing I could come across and beats all competition.
I would 100% recommend these guys. My car needed a bodywork repair. They were the cheapest quote I received by far and picked up the car from my house on a Sunday and delivered it back two days later with the bodywork looking perfect. I even got a 10% voucher off any further work!
Great service, used them twice in a week for my Merc and the wife's Golf both for break pads. Would use again.
Louis was a great guy and knowledgeable and polite. Unfortunately car needed more work than expected therefore cancelled the job and he did not charge anything for call out. I was only charged for the brake fluid. Thank you
Great Job, Great Guy, very professional, good advice given alongside a quality job, also very quickly done. Very happy and I highly recommend the services.
Very friendly service, very competitive price, great service of picking up delivering, highly recommend.

A brake, or brake pad is a system that safely enables a car to stop. Brakes get rid of the kinetic energy that helps the car move, which is done by using force of friction to convert this motion of energy into heat. Your car's braking system is made up of the following components: Brake discs, which spin with your car's wheels, Brake Pads, which push on the discs to slow the car, Brake Calipers which hold, and push, the pads, Brake Lines (or 'Hoses') which carry Brake Fluid, and your Brake Master Cylinder and Servo, which work to amplify the effort you use when pushing the brake pedal. Wear or failure of any one of these components will cause braking problems, requiring repair.
Modern cars have brakes on all four wheels which are operated by a hydraulic system and are made up of several components all of which are subject to stress which could result in breakage.
The front brakes in a car are typically the ones which play the greater part in bringing a car to stop as the weight of the car is thrown forward every time the vehicle comes to a stop.
There are different systems used for braking from one car to the next which suits the needs of the vehicle size and function.
The common hydraulic system uses fluid to apply pressure to pistons in the car close to its wheels to bring the car to a halt.
Some cars also have power brake assistance which helps to reduce the amount of effort required to apply stopping power.
If you need to have your brakes repaired there are several issues that could have caused the problem and several things that could be affected.
If you suspect you need your brakes repaired but your car is still drivable, there are some symptoms which could give you clues as to what the problem is.
The brakes are often the noisiest part of a car if there is an issue which means you should be able to hear a problem which cannot be said of many other broken car parts. Therefore, noticing the need for a car brake repair should be obvious. But you can check faulty brake symptoms here.
Brake pads are a critical component of a car and a vehicle cannot come to a halt without them functioning properly. Brake pads are fitted to the brake calipers which push the pads into the brake discs which are fitted to a car wheel. When a car is moving, the pads grip the discs to slow down the wheel and thus slow the car down.
A high amount of heat energy is created from the resulting friction as explained above and over time, this will wear brake pads down.
Brake pad replacement is a common job, the work to remove a worn-down-set is not complex so if you require a brake pad replacement, the repair will not be a lengthy one.
If you would like to understand how to tell when your brakes need servicing read our dedicated guide.
Brake discs are fitted to the car wheel itself and they are gripped by the brake pads.
Brake discs replacement is more expensive; the parts are more expensive than pads. Often pads are placed at the same time the discs are replaced.
If a mechanic advises you to replace your brake discs, they will likely suggest replacing the pads at the same time due to a the low cost of the part and the little extra labour time needed.
The cost of brake pad replacement may vary depending on the car make and model. This is because there are different sizes of brake pads and the cost increases as they get bigger. For example, a Land Rover will require a bigger set of brake pads as opposed to a Fiat Punto.
We have written a brake price comparison guide if you want to learn more.
If you want a good brake pad deal, you can compare quotes from garages near you by entering you details at the top of the page.
If you specifically require brake disc replacement, the work will take a similar amount of time to a brake pad replacement.
However, as highlighted above, the cost will be more expensive that pads due to the parts pricing.
Brake pads are changed by removing the wheel and unscrewing the bolts which hold the part in place. The part is then simply taken off the brake caliper and a new brake pad is fitted. The same process will be applied for each of the pads that need to be replaced.
There are many other common issues which can arise with the braking system which are not connected to brake pads and discs issues. The brake lines are susceptible to leakage as brake fluid can leak from the system if rust is untreated. The master cylinder is also a part of the braking system which can become faulty.
