Very good service
Great job, car drives like a dream now. Would recommend.
Great service, thank yoj
I am satisfied with service, everything when smoothly and I have received extra support from Malik the owner who made sure I pass my MOT.
the yard was a bit small and untidy with a busy group of gentlemen around about valeting cars but the service was courteous speedy and reliable.. vehicle has been running for a few months with no issues. I think his stars are deserved as he seems diligent and honest
Job was done in around 30 minutes which was perfect. They attended straight to the car as soon as I arrived, no messing and no long wait.
Mike is a nice and honest guy. Did the work in 40 mins as agreed. No wait time. Took my car in on the time agreed. So far no problems. He also got the more expensive and better parts which suited my car better with no extra charge. I definitely recommend Mike.
Great service, quick and prompt. Responded to any emails immediately, when I had to change my date and managed to fit me in earlier than planned. Warranty included, I was shown the parts for my car prior to them being fitted with an explanation as to why it was slightly more expensive for the model of car I owned. Will definitely use again for any major work.
Good experience. Dropped off car, went shopping, came back for car, paid & left. Brakes great!
Good customer relationship. Educated me more on how best to maintain my car.
Excellent service,job done 20mins.
Great service, great job, very friendly price was what was quoted would recommend to anyone who needs Aircon regard. The quote was one of the cheapest but couldn't fault anything
excellent, quick service and very freindly staff
Quick and easy aircon gas refill completed within 30mins. Cheapest by far around, great service, would have no worries recommending this garage
Good service and very friendly. Sorted out my car very well.
Great price, easy to communicate with and included a free valet. Thumbs up
When I arrived to get a quote on suspected rear bushings fault I was a bit disappointed by the tidiness of the garage having always been to larger tidier premises. I can honestly say that within 1 minute of the two men looking at my car in the pit they put to shame the larger garages and their so-called experts. In their first glance and with an honest and straightforward answer they affirmed that the only issue with my car was cheap rear tyres and not a £450 repair cost that had been quoted by VW and Quickfit... They told me the rear subframe and suspension was sound and only needed a £17 pound bushing if I was picky... All I can say is never judge a book by its cover... This is a perfect example. I can truly say that the big dealerships could learn a lot from Malik and his team and its No1 Honesty in their appraisal and No.2 fair and good value prices.. I have seen many garages rip people off with unnecessary services and bad value work and I felt the team here have found the perfect business model... well done and keep it up... I went from a total skeptic to a total convert with your top class service in under a minute... It was brilliant work ... full service- rear bushing changed at my request - brake fluid changed and 2 new rear tires and the car is handling like a dream and delivered and collected to boot.. WOW.. I can tell a good garage and a good team and this is it!!... I will be recommending them but don't be put off by the flip flops as they would run rings around VW and Awesome gti. Keep up the good work.
Great price. Fast diagnosis. Will definitely be using for further works
Really helpful and made sure everything was sorted given we’d just bought the car and knew work needed doing
Very good service. Told me exactly what was wrong and dealt with the problem.
Brilliant job and fantastic collection and drop off. Will definitely be using again
Very happy with the service I received today, I was kept informed of what work was needed before they did anything. Would definitely recommend this garage and will use them again myself.
Very good and fast service. Problem was fixed on the day and no recent problems since. Definitely recommend!

A brake, or brake pad is a system that safely enables a car to stop. Brakes get rid of the kinetic energy that helps the car move, which is done by using force of friction to convert this motion of energy into heat. Your car's braking system is made up of the following components: Brake discs, which spin with your car's wheels, Brake Pads, which push on the discs to slow the car, Brake Calipers which hold, and push, the pads, Brake Lines (or 'Hoses') which carry Brake Fluid, and your Brake Master Cylinder and Servo, which work to amplify the effort you use when pushing the brake pedal. Wear or failure of any one of these components will cause braking problems, requiring repair.
Modern cars have brakes on all four wheels which are operated by a hydraulic system and are made up of several components all of which are subject to stress which could result in breakage.
The front brakes in a car are typically the ones which play the greater part in bringing a car to stop as the weight of the car is thrown forward every time the vehicle comes to a stop.
There are different systems used for braking from one car to the next which suits the needs of the vehicle size and function.
The common hydraulic system uses fluid to apply pressure to pistons in the car close to its wheels to bring the car to a halt.
Some cars also have power brake assistance which helps to reduce the amount of effort required to apply stopping power.
If you need to have your brakes repaired there are several issues that could have caused the problem and several things that could be affected.
If you suspect you need your brakes repaired but your car is still drivable, there are some symptoms which could give you clues as to what the problem is.
The brakes are often the noisiest part of a car if there is an issue which means you should be able to hear a problem which cannot be said of many other broken car parts. Therefore, noticing the need for a car brake repair should be obvious. But you can check faulty brake symptoms here.
Brake pads are a critical component of a car and a vehicle cannot come to a halt without them functioning properly. Brake pads are fitted to the brake calipers which push the pads into the brake discs which are fitted to a car wheel. When a car is moving, the pads grip the discs to slow down the wheel and thus slow the car down.
A high amount of heat energy is created from the resulting friction as explained above and over time, this will wear brake pads down.
Brake pad replacement is a common job, the work to remove a worn-down-set is not complex so if you require a brake pad replacement, the repair will not be a lengthy one.
If you would like to understand how to tell when your brakes need servicing read our dedicated guide.
Brake discs are fitted to the car wheel itself and they are gripped by the brake pads.
Brake discs replacement is more expensive; the parts are more expensive than pads. Often pads are placed at the same time the discs are replaced.
If a mechanic advises you to replace your brake discs, they will likely suggest replacing the pads at the same time due to a the low cost of the part and the little extra labour time needed.
The cost of brake pad replacement may vary depending on the car make and model. This is because there are different sizes of brake pads and the cost increases as they get bigger. For example, a Land Rover will require a bigger set of brake pads as opposed to a Fiat Punto.

If you specifically require brake disc replacement, the work will take a similar amount of time to a brake pad replacement.
However, as highlighted above, the cost will be more expensive that pads due to the parts pricing.
Brake pads are changed by removing the wheel and unscrewing the bolts which hold the part in place. The part is then simply taken off the brake caliper and a new brake pad is fitted. The same process will be applied for each of the pads that need to be replaced.
There are many other common issues which can arise with the braking system which are not connected to brake pads and discs issues. The brake lines are susceptible to leakage as brake fluid can leak from the system if rust is untreated. The master cylinder is also a part of the braking system which can become faulty.
