Excellent service. Booked me in quickly and job was done right away. No hassle and a really friendly service. Would definitely recommend.
Job well done lads
Very good, very thorough and honest
Yes I would recommend this garage..Saj originally quoted £320 for a new clutch but it also needed a new slave cylinder..so with extra parts labour and gear box oil bill was higher at 495..Saj kept me posted throughout..car was towed to garage by AS on Monday lunchtime and got call from saj Wednesday afternoon..to say all fixed so approximately 48 hour turnaround..good service would definitely use this garage again
Although the garage couldn't regass my aircon they called lots of garages to make sure they could find a garage that could. They called me the next day to let me know where I could take my car and how much it would be. They were so kind, honest and went above and beyond. A real surprise.
Car was collected and dropped back to me on the day. Excellent service at a very reasonable price. I would definitely use again.
They did a good job
I absolutely would recommend this garage. The service is tops. Efficient and pleasant
Great job, and was done in a couple of hours.

Great service, no waiting Aircon working well again
Impressed with the service. Courteous and professional.
Great Garage. From start to finish they offer a brilliant service. They keep you updated with everything plus they give you their honest comments on whether something is worth doing. Would really recommend them. They pick your car up and bring it back. If you are within a 5mile radius definitely use this garage. I will be using again - Thanks guys
The staff was polite and pleasant. The garage has a waiting room for short job. My car needed some repair to pass the MoT, which the garage gave me a quote for the job. I left the car with the garage and I was kept informed of the progress of the work along with an estimate date and time of completion. The service was done and the car also pass the MoT. I am very happy with the job.
Good customer service. Excellent work

Very pleased with service they provided
Outstanding customer service from an independent garage. After receiving quotes from the named high street garages I used "who can fix my car". I am so glad I did, not only did I save money but found a garage close enough who could fit me in the very next morning. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently and I am more than happy. I will use again and will recommend to anyone requiring work carried out on their vehicle. Many thanks.
Great! Would definitely use again
The garage was excellent dropped of the car in the morning and by 3:00 pm the new clutch was fitted. I would recommend the mechanics at this garage and will be going back fo my MOT. Thanks Lloyd
Great guys, friendly, very helpful. Came out in heavy snow to pick up the car and returned it once fixed. Altogether fab service. Will use again. Thanks
Despite not adding the price for a filter, the quote was extremely reasonable. Whilst it was at the garage, we asked them to have a look at other minor things. They were really friendly and helpful, what was good about them as well, was they were genuine in what needed doing to the van and didn't try anything on. We will definitely be using them again.
Great service from Mark, Very honest about different pricing options & what actually needed doing to my car. Fast responses & arrived when he said he would, very fast turn around on my car. Free collect & drop off service is excellent. I can not fault this 5 star service and would reccomend this garage to anybody looking for any task, if I need work in the future this is the first place I will call. Thankyou Mark!
Took them an hour and a half to do the job very quick and efficient I would definitely recommend this garage
Highly recomend - Brake pads were making noise so they checked it over, gave them a buff and told me that a replacement wasn’t necessary. To top it off they didn’t charge me.
Awesome Service, price as quoted and additional work explained and actioned.

A brake, or brake pad is a system that safely enables a car to stop. Brakes get rid of the kinetic energy that helps the car move, which is done by using force of friction to convert this motion of energy into heat. Your car's braking system is made up of the following components: Brake discs, which spin with your car's wheels, Brake Pads, which push on the discs to slow the car, Brake Calipers which hold, and push, the pads, Brake Lines (or 'Hoses') which carry Brake Fluid, and your Brake Master Cylinder and Servo, which work to amplify the effort you use when pushing the brake pedal. Wear or failure of any one of these components will cause braking problems, requiring repair.
Modern cars have brakes on all four wheels which are operated by a hydraulic system and are made up of several components all of which are subject to stress which could result in breakage.
The front brakes in a car are typically the ones which play the greater part in bringing a car to stop as the weight of the car is thrown forward every time the vehicle comes to a stop.
There are different systems used for braking from one car to the next which suits the needs of the vehicle size and function.
The common hydraulic system uses fluid to apply pressure to pistons in the car close to its wheels to bring the car to a halt.
Some cars also have power brake assistance which helps to reduce the amount of effort required to apply stopping power.
If you need to have your brakes repaired there are several issues that could have caused the problem and several things that could be affected.
If you suspect you need your brakes repaired but your car is still drivable, there are some symptoms which could give you clues as to what the problem is.
The brakes are often the noisiest part of a car if there is an issue which means you should be able to hear a problem which cannot be said of many other broken car parts. Therefore, noticing the need for a car brake repair should be obvious. But you can check faulty brake symptoms here.
Brake pads are a critical component of a car and a vehicle cannot come to a halt without them functioning properly. Brake pads are fitted to the brake calipers which push the pads into the brake discs which are fitted to a car wheel. When a car is moving, the pads grip the discs to slow down the wheel and thus slow the car down.
A high amount of heat energy is created from the resulting friction as explained above and over time, this will wear brake pads down.
Brake pad replacement is a common job, the work to remove a worn-down-set is not complex so if you require a brake pad replacement, the repair will not be a lengthy one.
If you would like to understand how to tell when your brakes need servicing read our dedicated guide.
Brake discs are fitted to the car wheel itself and they are gripped by the brake pads.
Brake discs replacement is more expensive; the parts are more expensive than pads. Often pads are placed at the same time the discs are replaced.
If a mechanic advises you to replace your brake discs, they will likely suggest replacing the pads at the same time due to a the low cost of the part and the little extra labour time needed.
The cost of brake pad replacement may vary depending on the car make and model. This is because there are different sizes of brake pads and the cost increases as they get bigger. For example, a Land Rover will require a bigger set of brake pads as opposed to a Fiat Punto.

If you specifically require brake disc replacement, the work will take a similar amount of time to a brake pad replacement.
However, as highlighted above, the cost will be more expensive that pads due to the parts pricing.
Brake pads are changed by removing the wheel and unscrewing the bolts which hold the part in place. The part is then simply taken off the brake caliper and a new brake pad is fitted. The same process will be applied for each of the pads that need to be replaced.
There are many other common issues which can arise with the braking system which are not connected to brake pads and discs issues. The brake lines are susceptible to leakage as brake fluid can leak from the system if rust is untreated. The master cylinder is also a part of the braking system which can become faulty.
