Very Honest Garage owner, did not fix the issue straight away but resolved? Problems were beyond what I thought. But would deffo go back to again with future issues
Excellent Service. A quick phone-call and the car was booked in, looked at and works agreed straight away. EPS for power steering had to be replaced, parts ordered direct from Nissan. The car was in and out in a day. Good rate for the work and the time taken. I would definitely recommend this contractor.

Fantastic Garage , great customer service and a good price.
I think the prices are very competitive and the staff is professional and friendly.
All went fine. It's over a year since the cambelt replacement now. I had no issues since replacement. Recommend.
did a great job as requested
The guys from the garage are very professional, they have changed the timing chain for a few hours, they also cleaned the inside of the engine and changed the water pump in the given price. I'm very pleased with their services. Definitely recommend them.
Very quick response and fixed the issue within hours of having the car
I am very pleased with this garage very friendly and job well done and very reasonable on price I highly recommend to anybody
Mohammad is a first rate professional. He has worked on our family's vehicles many times and always delivers exceptional quality and value. He is one of those 'rare' mechanics one can actually trust. Thank you Fastlane!!!
The guys did a wonderful job, I will definitely go there again.
A bit of a late start to the service, due to their mechanic not being available on the Saturday, so this wasted some time initially (approx 1hr). However the owners were friendly and offered to drive me to the nearest retail park to kill some time and have lunch. They then collected me approx an hour later in my car as the job was completed. Overall very happy and would recommend. Good service.
Great work from great people.
Quality service, fast and affordable. High performance car was looked after very well by these chaps. Great service. Will be returning for next job!
Yes definately recommended. Price for break fluid change and full service. Professional service. On time and everything as agreed.
Excellent work, great bloke, very knowledgable. Will definitely be using again for service and repairs. Thank you
Very happy with Craig's service from start to finish. Understood issue over the phone, gave me the confidence to trust what he said, priced the job reasonably, arrived on time and fixed it. Admittedly it was computer work but he explained and checked exerything. Overall would happily recommend
Craig was amazing, diagnosed the problem almost immediately and fixed it on the spot. Very fair price for superior work, I will be using him again.
Craig is a breath of fresh air in mechanics world. I am a Bmw entusiast who loves to work on my own cars but am lacking time at the mom. From the moment you talk to Craig on the phone to the end of the repair you can clearly conclude that this guy is a pro. Despite of his young age he's just what you need for your car. 10/10 for communication 10/10 for skills 10/10 for price. highly recommended
Very good. Price was as quoted. The guy michael was helpful and even shut up shop for a while to give me a lift home as no courtacy car available. Car fixed and I am happy. Only slight downside.. There was no customer service area to take a seat. Reception area a bit manky and could do with a receptionist.
Excellent garage with superb customer service and even dropped my car off for me. They showed me the pictures of their work too. I highly recommend. I have already used them again for further work.
It turned out that my car’s gearbox hadn’t gone however, MC & Sons helped me sort everything out by using their diagnostics machine. Really great service & very friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend.
Totally recommend, best price around and job finished within the day.
job was done well and a lot cheaper than other garages
Price was for break discs and pads and both calipers replaced. Price was slightly higher than quoted but this was communicated to me before work was done. They also fixed anow intermittent light issue free of charge though and topped up my screen wash. Very happy with the service.
Work was completed quickly and for the price quoted. The staff were very personable, professional and helpful! I will definitely be using this garage again.
Overall pretty good, although I was told I needed 4 new tyres and brakes replacing on the rear, both had been done in the last 2 years and the car does 7k miles max a year!
yes polite and prompt to collect car... did exactly what i asked and threw in a cup of coffee... will use again

A brake, or brake pad is a system that safely enables a car to stop. Brakes get rid of the kinetic energy that helps the car move, which is done by using force of friction to convert this motion of energy into heat. Your car's braking system is made up of the following components: Brake discs, which spin with your car's wheels, Brake Pads, which push on the discs to slow the car, Brake Calipers which hold, and push, the pads, Brake Lines (or 'Hoses') which carry Brake Fluid, and your Brake Master Cylinder and Servo, which work to amplify the effort you use when pushing the brake pedal. Wear or failure of any one of these components will cause braking problems, requiring repair.
Modern cars have brakes on all four wheels which are operated by a hydraulic system and are made up of several components all of which are subject to stress which could result in breakage.
The front brakes in a car are typically the ones which play the greater part in bringing a car to stop as the weight of the car is thrown forward every time the vehicle comes to a stop.
There are different systems used for braking from one car to the next which suits the needs of the vehicle size and function.
The common hydraulic system uses fluid to apply pressure to pistons in the car close to its wheels to bring the car to a halt.
Some cars also have power brake assistance which helps to reduce the amount of effort required to apply stopping power.
If you need to have your brakes repaired there are several issues that could have caused the problem and several things that could be affected.
If you suspect you need your brakes repaired but your car is still drivable, there are some symptoms which could give you clues as to what the problem is.
The brakes are often the noisiest part of a car if there is an issue which means you should be able to hear a problem which cannot be said of many other broken car parts. Therefore, noticing the need for a car brake repair should be obvious. But you can check faulty brake symptoms here.
Brake pads are a critical component of a car and a vehicle cannot come to a halt without them functioning properly. Brake pads are fitted to the brake calipers which push the pads into the brake discs which are fitted to a car wheel. When a car is moving, the pads grip the discs to slow down the wheel and thus slow the car down.
A high amount of heat energy is created from the resulting friction as explained above and over time, this will wear brake pads down.
Brake pad replacement is a common job, the work to remove a worn-down-set is not complex so if you require a brake pad replacement, the repair will not be a lengthy one.
If you would like to understand how to tell when your brakes need servicing read our dedicated guide.
Brake discs are fitted to the car wheel itself and they are gripped by the brake pads.
Brake discs replacement is more expensive; the parts are more expensive than pads. Often pads are placed at the same time the discs are replaced.
If a mechanic advises you to replace your brake discs, they will likely suggest replacing the pads at the same time due to a the low cost of the part and the little extra labour time needed.
The cost of brake pad replacement may vary depending on the car make and model. This is because there are different sizes of brake pads and the cost increases as they get bigger. For example, a Land Rover will require a bigger set of brake pads as opposed to a Fiat Punto.

If you specifically require brake disc replacement, the work will take a similar amount of time to a brake pad replacement.
However, as highlighted above, the cost will be more expensive that pads due to the parts pricing.
Brake pads are changed by removing the wheel and unscrewing the bolts which hold the part in place. The part is then simply taken off the brake caliper and a new brake pad is fitted. The same process will be applied for each of the pads that need to be replaced.
There are many other common issues which can arise with the braking system which are not connected to brake pads and discs issues. The brake lines are susceptible to leakage as brake fluid can leak from the system if rust is untreated. The master cylinder is also a part of the braking system which can become faulty.
