My clutch was replaced within an afternoon, it has been working perfectly, and communication from Many Autos was second to none
Great dent repair and paint job + good service MOT I would definitely recommend it
Friendly, honest staff, that explained the issue with the leak and the methods that will be used to resolve it. Quoted a very reasonable price for the work carried out. Although it was explained that the sealant used to fix the leak may degrade over time, it is a design flaw of the Corsa that only uses glue and not rubber to seal the area from the leak. I'm glad that staff were honest about the problem and admitted that it may not be a permanent fix, so as long as the leak doesn't appear again in the next year or so, I'm happy with the service provided.
Excellent honest service and cup of tea while you wait, this man knows how to look after his customers
I was in and out within 30mins to have front brake pads changed. Will use again!!
Brilliant job! Highly recommended!
An excellent service and MOT. We will definitely use this garage again.
Very quick turn around. Very helpful :)
Joe was friendly and honest in his approach to our car issue, he was the first to reply to our request and called me first thing the next morning. He came out quickly and fixed the car there and then, he was completely honest that it wasn’t the initial problem and the job came out a lot cheaper! I will be keeping Joes number in my phone and recommending to all my friends. A life saver!
Fantastic service after having a compression test and getting the all clear. I booked in for more work to be carried out fast friendly and fair prices for top notch work. I recommend to anyone. I'll be returning if I have any future issues. Thanks again.
Friendly and polite company reps. Fixed right side front wheel bearing within a day and car collected and returned in time. Recommending to others
Excellent service. I now take both our cars there. Very fair price and great work from Alex.

Yes, brilliant service. They confirmed my diagnosis, explained exactly what was wrong, what was needed to fix it. Completed the work within the time frame I needed. They are now my go to garage....
Very friendly staff and would recommend this service.
Good service and job well done.
All fine, did what was asked
Within a day of the quote the car was colllected as agreeed. Cambelt change, water pump and antifreeze done. Car then dropped off within the same day. Good communication and would use again. Thank you.
Great job with great customer service. Would highly recommend it.
Clutch replacement. Really fast, picked my car up that day and dropped it off the next, car was fixed perfect. Cheapest in the area but also an awesome job and made life so much easier.
Really good team and got the required work carried out. Will use them again for future work.
Good job done, polite and professional
reliable, professional and well priced, will use them again
Did the job politely, promptly and as advertised. My breakdown cover charged me £108 just to come look at the car and diagnose the problem (as I did not have 'home callouts') - he fixed the car for £100, parts and all included. Would definitely recommend.
Did the job the same day! Arrived at the time they said they would! Found the most affordable price for the part needed! Very happy with the service.
Paul arrived early, which wasn’t a problem, and showed me what needed doing- new brake discs and pads. He completed the job on the road outside my house and gave me some advice about my tyres and where I could get some new ones. Best of all he came to me so I didn’t have to go to a garage. Will definitely be using him again and will recommend him to others.
Sam was amazing, he responded so quickly and came to fix my car whilst I was at work. Absolute life saver! Highly recommend. Thank you
brilliant job, booked in within 2 days & job was done before Christmas
Brilliant service from this garage, collected my car in the evening and had it all fixed and back the next day, would definitely recommend this garage

A brake, or brake pad is a system that safely enables a car to stop. Brakes get rid of the kinetic energy that helps the car move, which is done by using force of friction to convert this motion of energy into heat. Your car's braking system is made up of the following components: Brake discs, which spin with your car's wheels, Brake Pads, which push on the discs to slow the car, Brake Calipers which hold, and push, the pads, Brake Lines (or 'Hoses') which carry Brake Fluid, and your Brake Master Cylinder and Servo, which work to amplify the effort you use when pushing the brake pedal. Wear or failure of any one of these components will cause braking problems, requiring repair.
Modern cars have brakes on all four wheels which are operated by a hydraulic system and are made up of several components all of which are subject to stress which could result in breakage.
The front brakes in a car are typically the ones which play the greater part in bringing a car to stop as the weight of the car is thrown forward every time the vehicle comes to a stop.
There are different systems used for braking from one car to the next which suits the needs of the vehicle size and function.
The common hydraulic system uses fluid to apply pressure to pistons in the car close to its wheels to bring the car to a halt.
Some cars also have power brake assistance which helps to reduce the amount of effort required to apply stopping power.
If you need to have your brakes repaired there are several issues that could have caused the problem and several things that could be affected.
If you suspect you need your brakes repaired but your car is still drivable, there are some symptoms which could give you clues as to what the problem is.
The brakes are often the noisiest part of a car if there is an issue which means you should be able to hear a problem which cannot be said of many other broken car parts. Therefore, noticing the need for a car brake repair should be obvious. But you can check faulty brake symptoms here.
Brake pads are a critical component of a car and a vehicle cannot come to a halt without them functioning properly. Brake pads are fitted to the brake calipers which push the pads into the brake discs which are fitted to a car wheel. When a car is moving, the pads grip the discs to slow down the wheel and thus slow the car down.
A high amount of heat energy is created from the resulting friction as explained above and over time, this will wear brake pads down.
Brake pad replacement is a common job, the work to remove a worn-down-set is not complex so if you require a brake pad replacement, the repair will not be a lengthy one.
If you would like to understand how to tell when your brakes need servicing read our dedicated guide.
Brake discs are fitted to the car wheel itself and they are gripped by the brake pads.
Brake discs replacement is more expensive; the parts are more expensive than pads. Often pads are placed at the same time the discs are replaced.
If a mechanic advises you to replace your brake discs, they will likely suggest replacing the pads at the same time due to a the low cost of the part and the little extra labour time needed.
The cost of brake pad replacement may vary depending on the car make and model. This is because there are different sizes of brake pads and the cost increases as they get bigger. For example, a Land Rover will require a bigger set of brake pads as opposed to a Fiat Punto.

If you specifically require brake disc replacement, the work will take a similar amount of time to a brake pad replacement.
However, as highlighted above, the cost will be more expensive that pads due to the parts pricing.
Brake pads are changed by removing the wheel and unscrewing the bolts which hold the part in place. The part is then simply taken off the brake caliper and a new brake pad is fitted. The same process will be applied for each of the pads that need to be replaced.
There are many other common issues which can arise with the braking system which are not connected to brake pads and discs issues. The brake lines are susceptible to leakage as brake fluid can leak from the system if rust is untreated. The master cylinder is also a part of the braking system which can become faulty.
