Transparent and Excellent service, Highly recommended.
Excellent service car running like its brand new can't fault a thing
Fast and affordable
Kept me informed, were friendly and professional
Great guy with complete knowledge of Mercedes. Gave very valuable advice for the repairs.
Paul’s initial quote misunderstood the job, but once he realised the work involved, his quote was very reasonable - slightly below a typical hourly rate for an independent mechanic and less than half the price of the Merc Dealer. Arranging the job was excellent, Paul fitted me in around his other work and did the job on the weekend, working a very long Sunday to ensure he finished. The quality of the work was excellent, all very tidy and Paul was happy to explain what he was doing whenever I popped out. I’ll definitely be using him again.
Paul was punctual for his appointment, completed the agreed evaluation within 2 hours and has since produced a detailed report on the issues with my Mercedes CL500, supported by photos of the problem areas - leaving me to ponder on whether fixes, to make the car roadworthy, will be worthwhile. A knowledgeable and professional service,.
Was given excellent advice on the forthcoming service of my Mercedes CL. Paul was extremely knowledgeable and honest. I will be very happy for him to carry out the major service when due.
Very good mobile mechanic! Paul was very polite and spend time to explain to me what he is doing and why. Very happy with the service even though eventually he found more problems than expected and we did't go ahead with the repair.
Did a great job for a very good price!
absolute life savers. got my Mot and service done within a matter of hours
Very Very impressed! Great job!
Good hassle free service, will use them again
The Garage Walton were very helpful over my repair. The price was fair and as far as I can tell the work was carried out well. I'll use this garage again.
Excellent service and comprehensive MOT
Fast service and very competitive pricing. Friendly and professional!
Booked in straight away and done next day picked up same afternoon very happy !
Friendly service. A longer delay waiting for cambelt/waterpump to be done, but garage was over booked & busy. My only complaint is finding a lot of drips from waterpump as soon after I arrived in my driveway about 10 minutes later/4 miles away - reported to garage. Everything was fine before car was taken in . I simply opted for waterpump for piece of mind while cambelt was replaced I will keep an eye for any further problem. I myself have drained/changed coolant before in the past & WIPE UP drips before job is finished. Never had this issue with other garages. This is no excuse & hopefully other customers will not have same issue! I have taken car for test run following day & it seems ok, so hopefully coolant now dried up where it had splashed around engine bay when it had been drained. Hopefully I will use The Garage again, but as long as this doesn’t happen again. Just giving a honest review.
Wonderful experience. Exceptional customer service. Highly recommended
Qualify and fast service.
Took a bit long but £30.00 was a good price
Would have no hesitation in recommending the Garage to anyone in the future. Friendly and courteous staff. Reliable job.
Great service and communication. The main mechanic that i spoke with initially was very helpful and knowledgeable. When I picked up the vehicle, the female member of staff on front desk was polite/helpful and got my car out of the garage for me.
Big thanks for the guys from All 4 Wheels! Completed all my repairs at the price way cheaper than other garages, fast and problem free. Free pick up and drop off - big plus. Also gentelmans are really friendly and professional. I will be coming back and recommending to the others.
excellent work, very professional and efficient... this garage would recommend to everyone...
Louis was a great guy and knowledgeable and polite. Unfortunately car needed more work than expected therefore cancelled the job and he did not charge anything for call out. I was only charged for the brake fluid. Thank you
Perfect example of a high-quality neighbourhood garage. Efficient, friendly, value for money service delivered as promised. I'll definitely return to Anees for future work.

A brake, or brake pad is a system that safely enables a car to stop. Brakes get rid of the kinetic energy that helps the car move, which is done by using force of friction to convert this motion of energy into heat. Your car's braking system is made up of the following components: Brake discs, which spin with your car's wheels, Brake Pads, which push on the discs to slow the car, Brake Calipers which hold, and push, the pads, Brake Lines (or 'Hoses') which carry Brake Fluid, and your Brake Master Cylinder and Servo, which work to amplify the effort you use when pushing the brake pedal. Wear or failure of any one of these components will cause braking problems, requiring repair.
Modern cars have brakes on all four wheels which are operated by a hydraulic system and are made up of several components all of which are subject to stress which could result in breakage.
The front brakes in a car are typically the ones which play the greater part in bringing a car to stop as the weight of the car is thrown forward every time the vehicle comes to a stop.
There are different systems used for braking from one car to the next which suits the needs of the vehicle size and function.
The common hydraulic system uses fluid to apply pressure to pistons in the car close to its wheels to bring the car to a halt.
Some cars also have power brake assistance which helps to reduce the amount of effort required to apply stopping power.
If you need to have your brakes repaired there are several issues that could have caused the problem and several things that could be affected.
If you suspect you need your brakes repaired but your car is still drivable, there are some symptoms which could give you clues as to what the problem is.
The brakes are often the noisiest part of a car if there is an issue which means you should be able to hear a problem which cannot be said of many other broken car parts. Therefore, noticing the need for a car brake repair should be obvious. But you can check faulty brake symptoms here.
Brake pads are a critical component of a car and a vehicle cannot come to a halt without them functioning properly. Brake pads are fitted to the brake calipers which push the pads into the brake discs which are fitted to a car wheel. When a car is moving, the pads grip the discs to slow down the wheel and thus slow the car down.
A high amount of heat energy is created from the resulting friction as explained above and over time, this will wear brake pads down.
Brake pad replacement is a common job, the work to remove a worn-down-set is not complex so if you require a brake pad replacement, the repair will not be a lengthy one.
If you would like to understand how to tell when your brakes need servicing read our dedicated guide.
Brake discs are fitted to the car wheel itself and they are gripped by the brake pads.
Brake discs replacement is more expensive; the parts are more expensive than pads. Often pads are placed at the same time the discs are replaced.
If a mechanic advises you to replace your brake discs, they will likely suggest replacing the pads at the same time due to a the low cost of the part and the little extra labour time needed.
The cost of brake pad replacement may vary depending on the car make and model. This is because there are different sizes of brake pads and the cost increases as they get bigger. For example, a Land Rover will require a bigger set of brake pads as opposed to a Fiat Punto.

If you specifically require brake disc replacement, the work will take a similar amount of time to a brake pad replacement.
However, as highlighted above, the cost will be more expensive that pads due to the parts pricing.
Brake pads are changed by removing the wheel and unscrewing the bolts which hold the part in place. The part is then simply taken off the brake caliper and a new brake pad is fitted. The same process will be applied for each of the pads that need to be replaced.
There are many other common issues which can arise with the braking system which are not connected to brake pads and discs issues. The brake lines are susceptible to leakage as brake fluid can leak from the system if rust is untreated. The master cylinder is also a part of the braking system which can become faulty.
