Brilliant! Quick and friendly!
Karl and his team provided an excellent service. My timing chain needed replacing which is a common fault with the mini coopers. I got my car back today and its purring like a kitten. I would throughly recommend Eagle Autos the price of the repair was extremely reasonable considering the work involved. Thank you.
Eagle Autos is friendly, efficient and charges fairly. When I asked for advice on some separate mechanical issues they were very helpful. I would not hesitate to go back there.
Very helpful and good guidance given on the cost of the repair and advising me on the options i have and what to do next, i didn't go through with the repair as it wasn't only the dent that needed repairing but also my engine which was worth the same amount it would cost to buy a new car.
Slightly pricier that the other offers, but I got a professional, non-pushy service, and didn't end up paying much more as I normally do with cheaper ones.
Ross Motors were brilliant, I would highly recommend them. They were efficient, quick, adaptable and worked outside of working hours. Very useful and good value.
Great, came and fixed the issue and advised if it returns to take it to a garage to have it fixed again.
Exceeded expectations. Honest and authentic specialist mechanic. Customer service 9/10/

The first and only garage to contact me back, and within 2 hours of the request. Swiftly booked in for the following day and repair completed within an hour. Excellent service. Highly recommended.
We all know how difficult it is to find a reliable and decent garage as well as professional and friendly atmosphere nowadays. I think, after a few visits and repairs in several garages, MCAUTOS is standing out of the crowd as from the first moment inspires a very positive experience! Keep up the good job!!!
Excellent customer service from start....for this reason I chose this garage. The information provided was clear and unambiguous. I will use this garage in future should I need my car repaired again.
Exelent service and friendly people, profecional garage very equipped to do everything like really profecionals. I going to back to do the engine service 20000miles and then aircon filters change and sistem decontamination. Really I recommend this garage, is a little far but Is very good
The guys in the garage were amazing! I mean really really good! Specially Nick and chloe(if I remember the names right, sorry if I am not). He came and told me he can fix the issue and it was way cheaper than what the Peugeot dealer ship have asked for. He was surprised when he heard my car has failed MOT for this. I would give them 6 starts if I could! They were really honest, knowledgeable and professional. I am definitely going back there again. Thanks so much guys!
Work well done and advised on issues to sort out. Thanks will go back again to sort them out
Oh Yes, the job was carried out professionally. Paid £39 extra for repairs, VAT inclusive. The best part of it was the options and advice.I recommend them and would go there for the next service and MOT next year.
I used this garage last year and had to go back, very proffessional and very easy to communicate with. Their work is always good and is fitted quickly if needed and also very helpful with processes in place if you can pay the whole amount. William who is the manager is very helpful and communicates with you directly if there is any issues. Would recommend any time.
A bit pricey but also fully professional garage . The car is very clean and after servicing runs like new.
After I couldn’t make one appointment and Paul was stuck in unforseeable traffic for the rearranged meeting, he managed to have a look at the car and within 5 mins had diagnosed the problem (due to lack of service) and had it fixed. Have now arranged for him to do a service while the car is at my work to stop this happen being again and he gave a competitive quote. Very responsive and knowledgeable, would use again.
Adam came on time when he said he would . Very very helpful . Sorted our problem and we’re back on the road . Would definitely use him again and would highly recommend him . Very polite and helpful .
Excellent service, came out and did diagnostic on my car the following day.
Adam responsed quickly and gave me an accurate arrival time. He came with the necessary parts based on an over-the-phone diagnosis and the car was running again quickly. I recommend Adam
Five star Service . Thank you
Big thanks for the guys from All 4 Wheels! Completed all my repairs at the price way cheaper than other garages, fast and problem free. Free pick up and drop off - big plus. Also gentelmans are really friendly and professional. I will be coming back and recommending to the others.

A brake, or brake pad is a system that safely enables a car to stop. Brakes get rid of the kinetic energy that helps the car move, which is done by using force of friction to convert this motion of energy into heat. Your car's braking system is made up of the following components: Brake discs, which spin with your car's wheels, Brake Pads, which push on the discs to slow the car, Brake Calipers which hold, and push, the pads, Brake Lines (or 'Hoses') which carry Brake Fluid, and your Brake Master Cylinder and Servo, which work to amplify the effort you use when pushing the brake pedal. Wear or failure of any one of these components will cause braking problems, requiring repair.
Modern cars have brakes on all four wheels which are operated by a hydraulic system and are made up of several components all of which are subject to stress which could result in breakage.
The front brakes in a car are typically the ones which play the greater part in bringing a car to stop as the weight of the car is thrown forward every time the vehicle comes to a stop.
There are different systems used for braking from one car to the next which suits the needs of the vehicle size and function.
The common hydraulic system uses fluid to apply pressure to pistons in the car close to its wheels to bring the car to a halt.
Some cars also have power brake assistance which helps to reduce the amount of effort required to apply stopping power.
If you need to have your brakes repaired there are several issues that could have caused the problem and several things that could be affected.
If you suspect you need your brakes repaired but your car is still drivable, there are some symptoms which could give you clues as to what the problem is.
The brakes are often the noisiest part of a car if there is an issue which means you should be able to hear a problem which cannot be said of many other broken car parts. Therefore, noticing the need for a car brake repair should be obvious. But you can check faulty brake symptoms here.
Brake pads are a critical component of a car and a vehicle cannot come to a halt without them functioning properly. Brake pads are fitted to the brake calipers which push the pads into the brake discs which are fitted to a car wheel. When a car is moving, the pads grip the discs to slow down the wheel and thus slow the car down.
A high amount of heat energy is created from the resulting friction as explained above and over time, this will wear brake pads down.
Brake pad replacement is a common job, the work to remove a worn-down-set is not complex so if you require a brake pad replacement, the repair will not be a lengthy one.
If you would like to understand how to tell when your brakes need servicing read our dedicated guide.
Brake discs are fitted to the car wheel itself and they are gripped by the brake pads.
Brake discs replacement is more expensive; the parts are more expensive than pads. Often pads are placed at the same time the discs are replaced.
If a mechanic advises you to replace your brake discs, they will likely suggest replacing the pads at the same time due to a the low cost of the part and the little extra labour time needed.
The cost of brake pad replacement may vary depending on the car make and model. This is because there are different sizes of brake pads and the cost increases as they get bigger. For example, a Land Rover will require a bigger set of brake pads as opposed to a Fiat Punto.

If you specifically require brake disc replacement, the work will take a similar amount of time to a brake pad replacement.
However, as highlighted above, the cost will be more expensive that pads due to the parts pricing.
Brake pads are changed by removing the wheel and unscrewing the bolts which hold the part in place. The part is then simply taken off the brake caliper and a new brake pad is fitted. The same process will be applied for each of the pads that need to be replaced.
There are many other common issues which can arise with the braking system which are not connected to brake pads and discs issues. The brake lines are susceptible to leakage as brake fluid can leak from the system if rust is untreated. The master cylinder is also a part of the braking system which can become faulty.
