Price as quoted. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Would recommend and use again.
Quick service and Resonable prices, will use again.
Job: MOT & Full Service. Absolutely superb garage!! Open plan so that you can see and hear what is going on. All the gents I had dealings with were so friendly and helpful. They didn’t try and sell/push upon me any ‘extras’ and didn’t treat me like an idiot either. I was made to feel very welcome and was given detailed explanations before and after the job was done. Once my car was in, they phoned me with what was 100% necessary to be done and what was advisory for a later date. The whole job (including two faults that had to be fixed) took 2 hours, from start to finish. I would HIGHLY recommend this garage. I will certainly be using them again.
Had discs and pads all round, jag was friendly and did the work on my drive and provided a great service. Highly recommended.
A nice guy, did a good job and will be having him back to do more work.
Excellent can't fault this guy very honest and good price, would recommend to anyone.
really good service and communication, car fixed at 9pm on my drive, very happy with standard of work and the professionalism, would use again and definitely recommend
really ok and fair price
Such quick and efficient work from Adam at the garage. I was able to drop my car off that same day after thinking my head gasket had gone which is what I was told from another garage and i received my car back later that evening all fixed. However Adam found that my head gasket was fine and it was instead a different job that needed doing which costed me a whole lot less than what I thought I’d have to pay. Couldn’t recommend the garage enough!
I took my car into this garage for its yearly MOT and as a new driver with limited experience, I am really pleased with the quality, service and prices of this garage. Adam kept it real with me and was 100% honest which you don’t get at a lot of garages. Thanks again buddy.
Good customer service. Garage was easy to find. Did not rip me off. Was pleased with the work
Had my steering rack replaced at top gear. Customer services skills are fantastic and happy with the job done. It has the atmosphere of a friendly local garage where they will go out of there way to help you. I will be using them again for any future jobs. Highly recommend.
Very good service all round
Brilliant and quickly finished
Quick, professional and good priced. Would recommend.
The staff is friendly. The job was done pretty fast. In the quotation, it did said there are two years warranty for the clutch kit. I thought the job was covered by 2 years warranty. However till when the job was done, I realised that it only covered the clutch kit, not the whole job. That's something that is easy misunderstanging for customers. Also the warranty can only valid with a series of mileage check.
Brilliant work very happy at a reasonable prices
All fine, no problems
Definitely recommend this garage, excellent communication and service. Took my car in early and kept for me when couldn't collect next day even though work was done. The owner was fantastic and went out out of his way to make sure i was happy.
Quick and efficient, happy!
C4 picasso rear brake pads change. Great service and work completed in record time without any issues. Would highly recommend and will definately be returning again as a customer.
Everything was great
Job done at the agreed price and in the time stated. Very pleased with the friendly service and advice given. Thought I only needed a back box for my exhaust. But was advised to replace more and SHOWN why......the end price was for a full system fitted and probably a third of the price that Kw**f*t.
Highly recommend, done the job quick with no issues
Contacted them in the morning and they came out and did it the same day! It was done in no time, at my house, with no fuss and no extra changes. Perfect! Will definitely use them again!
yes i would recommend keep me well in loop came on time did job nice and fast will use again
I would definitely recommend getting my car fixed by Mobifit. I received an instance response after putting my advert up. The company was very transparent. The work took longer than expected as my alternator was in an awkward position in Saab 95. The mechanic did not ask for more money and clearly he stuck to his quote. Any other mechanic will bolt on additional costs. Very professional. Good work. Keep it up.
Honest and reliable workteam. Quotes from other garages was coming back at over £300 Just for a starter motor. I had a new battery and a starter motor fitted for £219. I would Highly recommend this company.
Replied with a quote within an hour. The service was brilliant and the job was finished within 2 hours.
Took my car here today, it needed new brakes and discs, absolutely fantastic service, good price, my car was ready to pick back up in a few hours. I’l be bringing my car again, thank you
Did a brilliant job with my car even managed to do a couple of other jobs while they had it there. Had 2 new tyres and also sorted my light out that I had replaced at Halfords cause they had put it in upside down after 2 attempts at fitting it. So thank you mr tyre Cannock I will be returning for any future work that’s needed.
Had all four brake pads and discs changed great service at an amazing price, would definitely recommend

A brake, or brake pad is a system that safely enables a car to stop. Brakes get rid of the kinetic energy that helps the car move, which is done by using force of friction to convert this motion of energy into heat. Your car's braking system is made up of the following components: Brake discs, which spin with your car's wheels, Brake Pads, which push on the discs to slow the car, Brake Calipers which hold, and push, the pads, Brake Lines (or 'Hoses') which carry Brake Fluid, and your Brake Master Cylinder and Servo, which work to amplify the effort you use when pushing the brake pedal. Wear or failure of any one of these components will cause braking problems, requiring repair.
Modern cars have brakes on all four wheels which are operated by a hydraulic system and are made up of several components all of which are subject to stress which could result in breakage.
The front brakes in a car are typically the ones which play the greater part in bringing a car to stop as the weight of the car is thrown forward every time the vehicle comes to a stop.
There are different systems used for braking from one car to the next which suits the needs of the vehicle size and function.
The common hydraulic system uses fluid to apply pressure to pistons in the car close to its wheels to bring the car to a halt.
Some cars also have power brake assistance which helps to reduce the amount of effort required to apply stopping power.
If you need to have your brakes repaired there are several issues that could have caused the problem and several things that could be affected.
If you suspect you need your brakes repaired but your car is still drivable, there are some symptoms which could give you clues as to what the problem is.
The brakes are often the noisiest part of a car if there is an issue which means you should be able to hear a problem which cannot be said of many other broken car parts. Therefore, noticing the need for a car brake repair should be obvious. But you can check faulty brake symptoms here.
Brake pads are a critical component of a car and a vehicle cannot come to a halt without them functioning properly. Brake pads are fitted to the brake calipers which push the pads into the brake discs which are fitted to a car wheel. When a car is moving, the pads grip the discs to slow down the wheel and thus slow the car down.
A high amount of heat energy is created from the resulting friction as explained above and over time, this will wear brake pads down.
Brake pad replacement is a common job, the work to remove a worn-down-set is not complex so if you require a brake pad replacement, the repair will not be a lengthy one.
If you would like to understand how to tell when your brakes need servicing read our dedicated guide.
Brake discs are fitted to the car wheel itself and they are gripped by the brake pads.
Brake discs replacement is more expensive; the parts are more expensive than pads. Often pads are placed at the same time the discs are replaced.
If a mechanic advises you to replace your brake discs, they will likely suggest replacing the pads at the same time due to a the low cost of the part and the little extra labour time needed.
The cost of brake pad replacement may vary depending on the car make and model. This is because there are different sizes of brake pads and the cost increases as they get bigger. For example, a Land Rover will require a bigger set of brake pads as opposed to a Fiat Punto.

If you specifically require brake disc replacement, the work will take a similar amount of time to a brake pad replacement.
However, as highlighted above, the cost will be more expensive that pads due to the parts pricing.
Brake pads are changed by removing the wheel and unscrewing the bolts which hold the part in place. The part is then simply taken off the brake caliper and a new brake pad is fitted. The same process will be applied for each of the pads that need to be replaced.
There are many other common issues which can arise with the braking system which are not connected to brake pads and discs issues. The brake lines are susceptible to leakage as brake fluid can leak from the system if rust is untreated. The master cylinder is also a part of the braking system which can become faulty.
