I was very pleased with this garage and would certainly recommend and use them again. I found them to be honest and competitively priced. They were also polite, friendly and not in the least pushy. Two small problems occurred and not only were these resolved extremely promptly but l also received some money off my bill. I left them thinking l would trust them completely.
Fast response and work carried out to a good standard. Initial issue was found to be wrong and full work completed. Reasonably priced in comparison to others looked at. Job well done.
Had to have bodywork repair & indicator light replaced. Sam was very helpful and on collecting my car 3days after, I was very impressed., not only with the repair but my car was polished & hoovered inside as well as washed outside, tyres were also cleaned & polushed. They even put a car fresh on my rear view mirror. They weren't the cheapest quote as the cheapest was a distance away & had no reviews re. bodywork whereas Kingston Motors were near to me & had 2 positive reviews re. bodywork. Was worth paying the difference of £30. I would use them again. You just need to call them, they don't have a Receptionist so I wouldn't depend on them getting in touch.... Not a problem, after all they're busy.
DO NOT USE THIS COWBOY! I asked for my exhaust to be repaired and he patched it up with a COKE CAN!! Then became abusive when I asked him to fix it properly. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I will be reporting this guy to trading standards.
Good quickly job. Highly recommended to anyone who need car repairs. Ralph
Advertised price, very informative and helpful guys.
Yes highly recommend
Very professional and kind. I would use this garage again. They were very down-to-earth and explained the problem clearly so that I could understand what was wrong with the car and why. I left my car in on Monday afternoon for a diagnostic check related to a faulty catalytic convertor and the car was ready by Wednesday morning in which they had done the diagnostic check and replaced the cat due to it causing a blockage to the exhaust. They also presented me with the emission tests they ran before and after the cat was replaced to show the difference. Overall a very satisfactory experience. 5 stars.
Great service from this garage. recommended.
Great service and communication. The main mechanic that i spoke with initially was very helpful and knowledgeable. When I picked up the vehicle, the female member of staff on front desk was polite/helpful and got my car out of the garage for me.
Would have no hesitation in recommending the Garage to anyone in the future. Friendly and courteous staff. Reliable job.
Took a bit long but £30.00 was a good price
I wanted my Saab regased ! But after an hour they couldn't do it , and wanted to charge £150 instead of £30 ! So I left !
Qualify and fast service.
Outstanding price Did the job promptly Local garage so v.convenient & was best value quote for my area. I have no hesitation in recommending Chessington Auto for a clutch repair. Fair price and did the job without fuss. Got a nice clean car back too!
Phoned garage after accepting price, booked in for 2 days later. Excellent, friendly service. Would definitely recommend this garage.
Super happy with the work done and the service received. Efficient responses, flexible with making things work and fast turn around. Was also really grateful for the car coming back fully cleaned. Would definately recommend.
In my post I asked for two quotes, one for just brake pads, and one for discs and pads. While most garages came back with only a price for the big job, Chessington Auto was one of the few that quoted both. The price seemed fair and they offered to collect my vehicle and return it the same day. Upon inspecting the vehicle they phoned to inform me of the condition of the brakes, giving me an honest opinion. They didn't try and force me into the more expensive, bigger job and said I would be okay with just having the pads done but that the discs had been worn down somewhat and this would cause the new pads not to last as long, but the choice was mine. Overall great service, competitive price and so far the job seems to have been done to a good standard.
Fast, Reliable, as agreed
I would highly recommend The Garage Walton. The price paid was cheaper than they originally quoted and substantially cheaper than quotes from other garages. Repairs were carried out in timely fashion and I was well informed throughout. Great customer service! Will certainly be taking my car back there in future.
I found the garage to be very helpful and accommodating. I had a annual service and MOT and a reduced MOT as i had the annual service. All done within a couple of hours and they accept card on site. Danielle on the phone was very pleasant and informative and would be more than happy to use the company again.
recharged aircon, friendly garage, efficient service, will be using again
I am absolutely happy. My wife's car was collected and delivered for free of charge. Guys were friendly and straightforward. Will definetely use their service again.
They did not even give a proper receipt. Prices are pretty much same as Ford main dealer.
Never got back to me.
Realy good service. Price was very good better than I would have expected and a good clean professional job
Did a great job, nice people, have since been back and had other work done.

Your brakes are extremely important to the safe operation of your vehicle. The job of your brakes is to bring your car to a stop as quickly as possible and if they are not working correctly, the stopping distance will increase and the likeliness of a collision will increase.
Brakes are made up of many different components and repairs could be needed on any one of them. Brakes consist of Brake Calipers, Brake Discs, Brake Pads, Brake Fluid and the Handbrake. The brake calipers squeeze the brake pads against the disc, this creates friction that prevents the disc from spinning and thus the wheels stop moving. New brakes cost different amounts depending on your car, manfacturers will recommend different parts for different cars. Depending on your vehicle, different components will be used. For example, larger vehicles will use discs with ventilation as there is a greater build up of heat when stopping a larger vehicle. Because of this costs will vary from vehicle to vehicle.
The brakes on the front of the car usually contribute the most to bringing a car to a stop as the weight of the car is thrown forward each time the vehicle stops.
Different vehicle have different brake systems and use slightly different parts.
The common hydraulic system uses fluid to apply pressure to pistons in the car close to its wheels to bring the car to a halt.
Some cars also have power brake assistance which helps to reduce the amount of effort required to apply stopping power.
If you need to have your brakes repaired there are several issues that could have caused the problem and several things that could be affected.
If you suspect you need your brakes repaired but your car is still drivable, there are some symptoms which could give you clues as to what the problem is.
The brakes are often the noisiest part of a car if there is an issue which means you should be able to hear a problem which cannot be said of many other broken car parts.
A brake change can vary in cost depending on what exactly you are having done but the average price is around £180. A brake pad replacement will cost less than replacing brake pads and discs. This is because the cost of brake pads is less than the cost to replace brake pads and brake discs. Brake discs replacement is more expensive because the brake discs cost more than brake pads and usually brake pads are changed at the same time brake discs are changed.
New brake pads can vary in price depending on the brand used, so make sure you ask your mechanic what brand of parts they are using. Remember, cheapest is often not the best!
A brake service is offered by some garages and often comprises of a quick check of all the components involved with powering your brakes before concluding whether or not replacing brake pads, brake discs or both is the best course of action. Often a brake service will cost you nothing but can cost a small amount for the garages time. But if the garage finds a problem, they will often waive the brake service cost if you have the worked completed with them. The brake repair cost is what makes it worthwhile the garage waiving the fee for the brake service.
