The most likely your car won't start is due the battery being flat or your battery has a fault. In addition to the car not starting it is unlikely you'll be able to use the lights or radio.
This depends on the condition of your battery. If you can jump start the car, then driving for at least 30 minutes may part-charge the battery, allowing the car to start next time. However, if the battery is dead on the next attempt to start the car you may need to fit a new battery.
