Was kept updated - the final price included 4hrs to strip the head to diagnose the full extent of the cam belt failure.
On 2 other garages I was being told that the oil is leaking from head gasket and it must be replaced, which was costing more than £1500. Ade, however, gave me a quote of £690, which was surprising for me. They've just replaced the solenoid valve and it's gasket. No more oil leaking. Also, Ade was very friendly and informative about the issue. They really know French cars well.
