Jaguar was founded in 1922 when it was initially called the Swallow Sidecar Company; since then, it has become a quintessentially British car brand. There are lots of quirky facts about Jaguar that most people don't know. The XF is a stylish alternative to the BMW 5 Series, and according to some reviewers, it offers a superior driving experience. When it was released in 2007, it marked a change in direction for Jaguar; gone was the retro styling of previous cars, replaced by a sleek, modern design with top speeds between 120 and 155 mph.
The XF has also received numerous awards. In 2012, it was named 'Car of the Decade' by the Southern Group of Motoring Writers, and Auto Trader crowned it 'New Car of the Year' in 2017. However, reliability isn't the XF's greatest strength. Keep an eye out for electrical issues, loose door trim and a stuck fuel filler cap.
