The first official Jeep models were light reconnaissance vehicles created for military applications during World War II. Over the years, the Wrangler - Jeep's most iconic car - has made over a thousand appearances on the big screen, including in the Jurassic Park franchise. It was the first unibody SUV, creating a revolutionary format commonly used today that incorporates the body, floorboards and other elements into one large structure. Top speeds for the Cherokee range between 115 and 130 mph, with a 0-60 acceleration of seven to 10 seconds. Engine reliability is a known problem, and the DPF is prone to clogging in diesel models.
