Land Rover Starter Motor Repair

Very friendly and efficient; called for a quote and they had a hire car available that day, when I went to collect the hite car the part for my car had already been ordered and was there. Final price was higher than the quote, but they explained this all to me.

Great gents - comms was good, timing was good and the quality/price was spot on. Couldn't fault it , and although I hope my car doesn't break down in the future, I know I'll be coming back here again .

I took it in on the day and time that was advised. I was told it would be a couple of hours so will get it back later that day. I did have a few issues at first where I was being told it’s not starter motor and it’s electrical fault- advised to take elsewhere. I advised that I want the starter changing and asked if my vehicle was in the ramp. I was advised it wasn’t because it wouldn’t start and they didn’t know how to get it out of park. I explained how to do this which did come a shock to me. I was then told that they will order the starter in the morning and fix it - so why didn’t you order the starter since it was booked in? I called the next day around midday to be told starter is out of stock and I could get a more expensive starter. The vehicle was in the garage for a total of 4 days! You can imagine I was annoyed but, the garage put the more expensive starter on and didn’t charge me extra since it was delayed. They also carried out a check in the tyres abs exhaust. I can’t fault the garage at all- they turned a bad experience into a good one. The vehicle is working perfect, thank you

Price agreed before the work was placed with them. Quotes were 2 @ £243.29 and 2 around £400, another quote was 400 from a local garage. The part was from Lucas, the mechanic was professional and I was very satisfied. Will get them to service the vehicle and undertake any further repairs. Being mobile was the initial reason for considering them and I am pleased that I employed them.
