Lexus is known for making luxury vehicles designed according to its defining philosophy: "the pursuit of perfection". In the 2023 Auto Trader New Car Awards, it was voted 'Most Reliable Brand' for the fourth time, maintaining its status as a top manufacturer in the UK.

With several cameos in TV shows (notably Breaking Bad, Silent Witness and Modern Family) and mentions in hip-hop songs (Ignition by R. Kelly and Jay-Z's Somewhere in America), this is a brand deeply ingrained in pop culture.

Lexus has also made waves in the world of motorsport, becoming the first manufacturer to enter a production hybrid car - the Rx 400h - in the Nurburgring 24-hour race.

The most common problems drivers experience with convertible car roofs are leaks and failure of the roof to go up or down.

Leaks occur because the roof seals perish over time, allowing water to get in, which can damage internal components. This issue can be resolved by booking a car roof leak repair.

If the roof doesn't go up or down, this may be due to a bad lift cylinder, fuse or relay. A faulty lift cylinder can also cause the roof to move more slowly than it should. In this case, you'll need to book a convertible top mechanism repair.

A badly damaged soft top may be beyond repair, so you'll need to arrange a replacement. Fortunately, plenty of convertible roof specialists can help get your car back in working order. A convertible roof repair is usually quick, although it gets more complicated when components need to be replaced.
