Nice and friendly people with great communication. A good price was quoted to carry out a steering rack replacement which included wheel alignment after the rack was fitted. Whilst carrying out the job they ran into some issues, and the vehicle was at the garage an extra day, however they did not charge any extra from the original quote, which is good. I had to return to the garage to get them to redo the wheel alignment as it wasn't perfect however they rectified this alignment without any fuss or extra charges and the alignment is now good. I'd recommend this garage for price alone, some nearby garages quoted nearly double what this garage quoted.

Rack and pinion steering relies on a gear set to convert the turning movement of the steering wheel into the motion required to turn the wheels. When this system is combined with power steering, the configuration changes slightly to include a cylinder with a piston in the middle.
