Quick service, reliable
Excellent service. The mechanic went to the trouble of discussing what they had done which was very much appreciated. The receptionist was very friendly.will definitely be back.
Good quick helpful servive would happily recommend.
2 years in a row I’ve had a full service and MOT with Drivers Autocentre. Never had any issues car passed first time and definitely the lowest price I could find. Will use again next year
Good job
I took my car to Goodfellas and even when I was booking over the phone the guys there made sure they explained everything to me and what they would do to the car. I wasn’t hurried off the phone or treated badly at all. Even when they were discovering new problems on my car they would phone me and go over everything to make sure I was confident in what they were doing for me. They had to order a range of new parts for me but they made a lot of effort to minimise the costs. They showed me the parts afterwards to show me the wear and why they had to replace. Overall I can’t give these guys a good enough review, they were superb. I would especially like to thank Lucas for all his help and Martin for taking car of the car. Even though I am not local to the garage I will be taking my car there in the future. Great bunch of guys there who are all extremely friendly and care about the service they provide. 5 stars for them. Thanks again Goodfellas. Will
All was perfect especially the staff thank you
Excellent friendly service
Very helpful and suggested cheaper ways to fix the car. If I had gone to Toyota it would have been many times the price.
brilliant job exactly as quoted and within time allocated .
Patrick did an amazing job with repairing the gearbox to my vehicle that had completely given up the ghost and wouldn't budge.Service was excellent and very speedy. We most especially appreciated the fact that he went the extra mile to do overtime to get the car done on time and delivered the same evening of repair! The car runs smoothly in gear shifts and runs like new, and the quality done in work is top notch with a very competitive unbeatable price. It was also extremely helpful that he was able to pick up and drop off the vehicle back to the house free of charge, which says a lot about the quality of customer service.Patrick now has a permanent customer from us :)
Thank you very much for your help and Mr Patrick have done a GREAT JOB to my car. My engine is very smooth with fast acceleration. I am definately be with you for the next service. Doan in 225 Watford way
Very prompt response, and got the Job done
After let down by Queens Auto came to this garage and met with Patrick who identified the problem spot on and fixed it accordingly. The car drives just fine same as it was before. Very pleased with the work carried out and highly recommend....
Our Kia 4 year old Kia Sportage needed a new clutch. Our local Kia dealer were hopeless and couldn't book the car in until the end of February. I found Patrick on line and from our first phone call he offered a brilliant service. The car was picked up by his equally helpful mechanic Sean. Unfortunately a failed seal had caused oil to leak onto the clutch. This also needed to be replaced. Patrick clearly communicated this to us and sent me a video to show me the problem, The car was delivered back to us the following day. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Patrick and will definitely be using them when my MOT and service are due later in the year. Thank you Patrick and Sean
Got the work done quickly and efficiently, no hitches whatsoever. Hard to find a garage that does the work at a fair price and at a pace as quick as Swanmores. Finally found a garage that's going to be my go to every time I need some work done to my car. Appreciate it!
Job done, kept informed and useful information for future reference. Thanks.
Front brake pads replaced, excellent will definitely go back. thankyou
Tks
Good service good price ,started job on time and finished on time so very pleased
Completed diagnostic as requested. Timescales for job initially unclear but clarified later. Comprehensive explanation of fault and discussion of options.
Excellent straight to the point service Literally went for an interim service, dropped the car off, came back an hour later, done Easy And also very cheap
Fantastic service. Just need a bigger sign to find it.
Great! Had it picked up and done during work, and dropped off after. Nice and easy, thanks.
5*
Were able to my car the next day Send my car in for an engine light on. They called back within an hour with the diagnosis and proposed course of action (which was cheap and I agreed) Then asked for service which was done the next day. Lastly, they weren’t fussed about pickup time. Good experience overall
good service. job completed on time and on budget
Excellent service. Identified the issue quickly and kept me fully informed. Would definitely use again. My faith in car mechanics has been restored!!
Lovely guys. Very helpful.
Eagle Autos have done what I asked for with my exhaust, even that was a minor job but still my van was successful on MOT check on the other day. Polite service, quick, no waiting room but I do definitely recommend that garage if you wish for economy repairs.
The fuel pump is responsible for pumping fuel into the cylinders of the engine and performs an extremely important function in the running of a car.
Fuel injectors are susceptible to becoming dirty and often require cleaning, when they become clogged they can cause noticeable problems when driving.
There are some tell-tale signs that your fuel injector needs cleaning so as soon as you see the following indicators, take your SAAB to a mechanic.
You can buy fuel injector cleaning kits and perform the job yourself, however this will require getting your hands dirty and removing the part from the engine.
Unless you are a trained professional, this can be a difficult job which is why we would recommend that you leave the work to mechanic!
However, if you would like to carry out the work yourself, here is a step by step guide on how to clean a fuel injector.
The first step is the easiest, simply go to any shop around that sells car cleaning kits and get your hands on a fuel injection cleaning kit.
There may be more than one type of kit as different so make sure to get the right one for your car.
You may even have to assemble the kit yourself by buying cleaning fluid and other materials if there is not a full kit on sale.
Make sure to ask for help if you don’t know what to look for.
Each car is different and so the fuel injector will be located in different places. The easies way to find the part is by using the manual that came with your car when your first bought it. This will list where the fuel injection pump is.
This is where the job starts to get technical and we would once again recommend that you only follow these steps if you are familiar with car maintenance and are able to navigate a car engine with ease.
The fuel injectors will be connected to the fuel pump and there will be a few of them.
Remove the injectors and connect a fuel return line or U tube which will divert the fuel back to the tank.
Specific vehicles will require the complete removal of the fuel pump or relay for proper cleaning to be possible.
There should be a section in your car owners manual that tells you about how to disconnect the injectors from the pump and connect a U tube or return line so pay close attention to the instructions.
You should consult your car owners manual to locate the vacuum line, once you’ve found where it is in the engine, remove the tube.
The first thing you’ll need to do is locate the fuel pressure test port and connect your new cleaning kit.
The kit itself will have detailed instructions on how to perform this task.
The cleaner fluid itself is flammable so it’s vital that you don’t spill any of it over your engine or get it on the injectors themselves.
The cleaning kit works by shooting cleaning fluid and air at high pressure around the fuel system, however there needs to be somewhere for the air to escape just in case there is a blockage and a build up of pressure begins.
Ignoring this precaution could result in serious damage being caused to your car.
Make sure that all of the connections are properly fixed and ensure the fuel pump is switched off.
Now its time to turn on the engine.
The cleaner will then circulate through the injectors until the cycle is complete, make sure to follow the exact instructions on your specific kit as the time to leave the engine on may vary from kit to kit and engine type to engine type.
When you have switched the engine off, you will be free to remove the cleaner and reconnect all of the other parts that you have disconnected.
Once more, follow the instructions on in your car owners manual and on the cleaning kit itself to ensure this is all done properly.
Remember to close the fuel cap once you have completed cleaning your fuel injector.
This is the moment of truth and when you will find out whether you have managed to complete the job properly.
Turn on your car engine and listen to see if there are any abnormal sounds coming for the engine. If this is the case then you should take your car to a mechanic immediately and tell them what has happened.
However, if your car is still suffering from the symptoms we listed earlier in the guide, your fuel injector pump and injectors may need replacing and cleaning them has simply had no effect as they are damaged.
If cleaning the parts of the fuel injection system has not resolved your issue, you will need to take your car in for repair.
As there are several parts that make up the system there may only be certain parts that require repair or replacement so costs and time taken to complete the work will vary greatly.
If you have attempted to clean the system with using the advice above, make sure to tell the mechanic as they will likely attempt to carry this work out in a first attempt to resolve the issue.
